I had an incredible time looking at the exhibitions there and had a wonderful conversation with the woman working there about photography, the current exhibition, the programming there and more. A small but impressive collection of photography!
My 1-star rating is for the summer camp. My granddaughter was excited to enroll in the Candid City: Street Photography session. Based on the information she shared I strongly recommend you have more than one instructor to assist with minors walking in an unfamiliar neighborhood. She was instructed to roam the neighborhood and to meet back at a designated place. When she returned no one was there. After waiting for a while, she walked five blocks and ran into another student who said she was lost. Finally, they located the instructor who was unaware they were missing. The instructor said , "We are waiting for one more student". My granddaughter had to tell her two students were missing. The instructor did not have an accurate count of the students. This is a safety issue. Students walking alone unsupervised. This is a safety issue. The students did not have the phone number of the instructor in case they were lost. This is a safety issue. The students did not have name tags and were addressed as "hey you." This is an impersonal issue. The next day when she arrived, she was informed the group was at Discover Green. When her parents inquired as to why they were not told in advance? They were told an email was sent to my granddaughter. This is a communication issue. The parents should have been notified in advance. I recommend you provide an agenda for the week with daily details and locations. Please put safety first, be personable and communicate effectively. Parents are entrusting you with their children while in your care.
Ein brillanter Ort, der typischerweise Fotoausstellungen zeigt und gelegentlich auch Aufführungen hat. Es ist ein be Space mit einer Bibliothek zu allem rund um Fotografie. Finanziert durch den National Endowment by the Arts und Spenden. Das Personal ist gut bewandert in hot und den Ausstellungen. Das sollte auf Ihrer Liste der Galerien stehen.
Die Galerie hat einen schönen Touch. Sie ist klein. Und einige Bilder bringen mich zum Kopfschütteln. Aber jetzt denke ich, dass das genau so sein soll. Lass die Gedanken in deinem Kopf hervortreten. Hmm. Jeder hat ein Bild, das ihm gefällt.....😂
This gallery is great! It's absolutely beautiful. It's nice and quiet. Makes you really think about what these pictures of real life things and people mean.
