Do not do business here, prices have gone up exponentially year after year and now they are even charging hidden fees. I was charged for a Tax Identity Shield service without my consent. When I called the number on my paperwork, the reps on the phone had no idea what the service was and I was transferred multiple times without resolution until my call was dropped. The supposedly senior tax specialist Sandy added the fee to my account without my consent which is completely unacceptable. I should have known when she asked if I wanted copies of all documentation at the end that she was trying to obscure the fact that I was overcharged for a service I did not ask for. If you have done business here, read through your paperwork carefully

I had a bad experience where my tax pro tried to overcharge me for the online tax pro review service (I filled out my information myself online and they are just supposed to review and fix or add any critical detail) and instead charge over $300 more for full-service in-office preparation fees. I raised the issue with the manager who told me there was nothing they could do and that I previously had gotten a very good deal (apparently no one had qualms about charging for services that they didn't perform). Additionally, the Peace of Mind guarantee that they charge for is a scam. I had 2 separate managers promise in writing to pay my claim due to issues with my prior year tax return that led to interest and penalties from the IRS, only for them to later never follow through. Bottom line, do yourself a favor and use Turbotax or find an qualified, honest accountant to do your taxes and stay away from H&R Block altogether.

I went in to get my taxes filed this evening and was welcomed with the brightest smiles! I had the pleasure of being assisted by Amy Gordon the worlds sweetest n funniest tax expert!!! She made the experience very pleasant and was so efficient! I came in with a handful of random documents and I had no idea if i owed money and i was super late on filing my taxes and so i was scared and stressed but Amy really made it such a lovely experience. I really appreciate it!!

I had a VERY good experience with Lanette! not sure her last name off the top of my head... however she works at the location off val vista and Warner in Gilbert AZ. She was MORE then helpful with me and very informative. Not only did she go above and beyond when answering questions and providing me with all the info needed.she was Very sweet and patient with my 5 yr old who had to go to the appointment with me. She also made my experience in the office very positive and informative experience! THANK YOU!!!
