Betty made a huge mistake on our 2023 taxes!!!!. She did not include one of the 1095 forms from the market place and entered wrong information on form 8962. So now I have to pay an additional $4000 . I know I have to pay this either way but I had the money back in March and could have paid it. Thank you so much H&R block for hiring such great tax experts (not) I will be having someone else do my taxes next time!!!

If you have 1 simple return this is a good place to complete it. If you have deductions or multiple returns find an accountant. The costs aren't much different since H&R Block has raised their prices.

I have used H & R Block before and had a wonderful experience. Not the case this time. I went in and it was obvious right away that the preparer didn't know what he was doing with regard to a specific tax document which isn't uncommon. He asked me to give him time to confer with his supervisor and get back with me. He also gave me a quote of $145.00 over the phone after I noted every single tax document I had. I said both were fine. He had my paperwork for almost a month and claimed he sent me an email which I never received. He didn't return my calls. I finally called right before deadline an asked for a supervisor. He got on the phone and was very rude and flippant with me. He informed me that it would be $220.00 to which I was shocked. I told him I had been given a quote by Michael Wilson of $145.00 and didn't think it was right to almost double the price. He accused me of leaving out documents that were part of my tax returns which I hadn't. He said they would give me a "discount" and bring it down to $195 I believe Dustin Newberry (Manager) said. I said I didn't think it was right to give a quote and go back on it. At that point he got very nasty and said "You can always come get your stuff." I was stunned and angry at his tone. I immediately told him I would do so and did that day. Luckily I found a tax expert that did the job quickly and efficiently just the day of deadline. I will never use H & R block again.

H&R is by far the easiest, and friendliest place I've gotten my taxes done. I've tried other companies, and found there's no comparison. I was in and out very quickly, even when some issues came up; Betty solved them in minutes. I will probably continue to use them every year going forward in the future.

Wir stellten Fragen, die von Ms. Emers beantwortet wurden. Sie erklärte, wie sich die Steuergesetze für dieses Jahr geändert haben. Sie erklärte, wie einige Steuern dieses Jahr anders sind als im letzten Jahr und wir verstanden, wie sie es uns erklärt hat. Sie erklärte uns, wie wir uns vor Personen schützen können, die nicht die sind, für die sie sich ausgeben, wenn es um unsere Steuersituation geht. Wir waren mit unserer Zeit bei Ms. Emers sehr zufrieden. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, mit ihr über unsere Steuersituation zu sprechen. Wir werden ihre Dienstleistungen wärmstens empfehlen.
