Spoke with Shawn last year when a home policy that I had was discontinued by farmers claiming that the property was in a fire zone which it was not but because it was less than 20 miles Palos verdes. The policy worked and I was happy. Called Shawn again looking for a home policy on our home in Fontana, he sold me on Orion 180 s Florida company. This was paid in full up front. They have a company that does inspections with your phone, you cannot take pictures it must be through the link they send you. We didn’t understand this part, we cleaned everything out from under the sinks, took pictures of the outside and the roof. What they are doing is setting you up to deny payment, they are setting a trap. Trying to straighten this out I looked at better business bureau and found that Orion 180 is extremely egregious and there are pages and pages of people getting utterly screwed over this company. This was the company Shawn recommended. He was also supposed to call me back re car insurance twice and never did, maybe that’s a blessing. When I called Orion and spoke about BBB they gave it up and reversed and ended the policy. We will get a refund maybe. Hopefully they will keep their word. Just won’t use Shawn again but insurance has changed, not sure any company is decent anymore. Insurance is dying. When enough people give it up they will change.
