Came here for the hype and wasn't disappointed. We went on a Friday night and yes the wait is real (1 hour). Service was great. We sat upstairs and it started out somewhat calm/casual music but it got really loud quick once filled up. Only 1 bathroom stall for entire upstairs. Food wise, I'd avoid the karaage as tasted bland. Takoyaki and ramen was delish. Get the ravioli add-on. The $7 pumpkin pudding was worth it.

Me and my bestie came here for the Umeshu (Japanese Plum Wine), but it was delish! Atmosphere was packed on Wednesday, Dec 17, 2025, so better RSVP in advanced. Food was fresh and fragrant but I loved the Chestnut Tiramisu. It's about 10-20$ per food ordered, so I highly recommend coming here on a date, wedding celebration, or with friends. For food, it's best to share unless you're here for the ramen. Our order took a long time so the waitress offered us her own special shots drink, not pictured. (I ordered the cold takowasa, karaage, edamame, and tiramisu of the month which was chestnut. My friend ordered takoyaki and mochi doughnuts).

Excited to eat here but disappointing. I’d recommend skipping this restaurant. I’ve lived in Japan and eaten tons of ramen. My wife is Japanese. This is not authentic or what you want if you are looking for anything authentic. Not sure how they got a Michelin Star rating or why people would wait 30-45mins to eat here. Service was not so great. Food overpriced. Server asked us to wait in the basement near the bathrooms until a table was ready??? Should have left at that point. We ordered karaage which was the best part of our meal. It was well done but normal quality you find at any Japanese restaurant. However it was brought to our table with no plates. Had to request them. Server barely came to our table. Ramen was no where near the quality of real Japanese ramen. Chashu was diced which is weird and broth was not delicious or salty enough. Thin noodles were too thin and thick normal noodles you usually get for most ramen. Teriyaki was yummy but not salty enough. Overall disappointed with our eating experience here. Check came out to $85 which we thought was crazy high for the level of service and quality of ramen.

Vibes and atmosphere were good and the food was great, too. Service was friendly and professional. Our table was tiny though. Hate when restaurants try to cram tiny two person tables into the middle section so everyone's constantly walking around you and your table all the time. Not a good seating experience. Especially when you want to try several different dishes and have no space on the table.

Worth it for the atmosphere, but I wouldn't wait around. I entered the waiting list around 19h on a Sunday from the ramen side entrance, and was notified of a 30-50 minute wait. I was seated at the bar, as preferred, 45 minutes later on the Izakaya side. The bartender was attentive and friendly to take my order for drinks and dinner. The Sapporo pints were excellent ($9) but unfortunately one of the three food items I ordered was not delivered. I had to ask two more times for the item until it arrived after I was finished eating the first two. (I ordered 3 items at the same time). I was still charged for the forgotten item, which was fine. Atmosphere was excellent, the food was average but priced according.
