I passed my driving test last month on my first try after only nine hours of lessons. Jun was an incredible instructor. His teaching style is creative and catered to how I learn best. He’s patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and never gives off that strict teacher hierarchy vibe. Honestly, I was more nervous about the instructor than the lessons themselves. A great instructor can make the whole learning experience better, and you’re way more likely to ask questions when you feel comfortable. Jun is also humorous, which helped create a welcoming and stress free learning environment. My experience was amazing and I learned so much, from real road practice to helpful tips and tricks. He’s thoughtful about each lesson, always choosing routes that are challenging but still within my ability so I can grow without feeling overwhelmed. I did a total of twelve hours, and I went from having anxiety driving 20mph to feeling confident on the road especially on the freeway. It was genuinely rewarding. I highly recommend Jun and this school!!!

I just passed my driving test on the first try! Manthew is a fantastic driving instructor. He teaches you the rules and continuously points out areas for improvement so that you keep learning. He shows you practical examples like how to park on a hill and which way to turn the wheels and explains what happens if you do it wrong. It’s not just a formula you have to memorize; you actually see the car move and understand how to maneuver it. He is a very practical teacher, letting you discover things rather than just telling you what to do. This is great for learning and building confidence. I 100% recommend him!

My Dad took a 90-mins road driving lesson with Instructor Ian today. He is doing a great job and my dad had great experience. My dad is an 30 yr+ experienced driver in another country but having ramp-up to adapt to drive in US road. Ian provided constuctive feedback and guidance to adjust his driving skills. Also patient and nice. Highly recommended

I recently moved to the US and was used to driving on the left side, so adjusting to right-side driving was a big change for me. The instructors at IDA Driving School helped me break old habits and get comfortable with the rules and flow here. They were very accommodating to my preferences, even though their slots are in high demand, and they were always responsive to calls and emails, resolving any queries quickly. The driving instructors trained me with a personalized approach — starting from the very basics all the way until I took my driving test. They focused on my weak areas, helped me build confidence, and prepared me not only to pass the test but also to navigate everyday driving in Washington, including freeway driving (even though that’s not part of the test). I truly appreciate their professionalism and guidance, and I highly recommend them to anyone learning to drive here.
