Indy Veterinary Care is truly exceptional. The staff is incredibly kind, the vets are knowledgeable, reassuring, and genuinely supportive, and you never feel rushed. I recently moved to the area and had to walk in urgently when my pup Mason got sick without an appointment. They took care of him immediately and made sure he got exactly what he needed to feel better. They are absolutely excellent with animals. You can tell they truly love what they do and treat every pet as if it were their own. I trust them completely, and that peace of mind is priceless. I can honestly say I’ve never had a vet experience like this before. I feel so grateful knowing both Mason and Jackson are in such caring, capable hands. I’ve officially found my new vet for as long as I’m here. If you’re looking for a veterinary practice that goes above and beyond.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND making Indy Veterinary Care your vet!

I chose Indy Vet purely based off of their rave reviews on google after doing research on all of the vet offices in Philly. They have incredible front-desk staff and Dr. Eric was amazing with my cat, Frankie! I arrived a few minutes early to my appointment and they brought us to a room immediately. This is the first time I haven't had to wait forever to be seen for a pre-booked vet appointment! I wasn't sure how long the appointment was going to be but we used up the full hour discussing her as Dr. Eric is very thorough and attentive with answering my questions. I absolutely recommend the Indy Vet team and Dr. Eric for the care of your furbaby!

Since July I have had the pleasure of taking my senior rescue dog to both Dr Eric and Dr Sara. We first saw Dr Eric in order to get a 2nd opinion on the order of operations (so to speak) in order to address Goddi’s mammary masses. She was not spayed until she ended up at the shelter in spring / summer of 2024, which puts her at greater risk of mammary cancer. Our usual vet, who is wonderful but perhaps not as attentive as I’d like for a senior animal, had brushed them off for months until I urged them to feel her belly again, then insisted we do surgery followed by a chest x-ray within 3 months. I was concerned about her getting surgery due to her heart murmur and age and didn’t feel like those were being taken into consideration as carefully as I’d like. So, we got a 2nd opinion! Dr Eric was extremely informative upon our first visit and made recommendations such as seeing a cardiologist to get her cleared for surgery and doing the chest x-ray prior to surgery. As soon as we got the go ahead from the cardiologist, I scheduled her surgery which was with Dr Sara, who also did her bloodwork and chest x-ray. In-take and communication leading up to surgery day was extremely professional and compassionate — both Dr Sara and Dr Eric (as well as other team members!) were quick to answer my many questions and answered with great detail and in a way that was easy for me to understand. Obviously, a major surgery like this is scary for us owners with any animal at any age but I felt like the Indy team really took extra care with the recommended steps and precautions (but not in a $$$ milking way!) Her surgery was well inline with the initial estimate I was provided and they even helped offer ways we could get the cost down while not impacting Goddi’s health or treatment. The front desk team also texted me when her surgery started and when it ended. And Dr Sara called me right after to provide a run down of how things went and what was found (mammary masses & inguinal hernia). The tech (sorry if this is the incorrect title) working also went to school for anesthesiology I believe and trains other vet techs. She said Goddi did unbelievably well under anesthesia :) I cannot thank this team enough for making such a tough experience / decision for both my Goddi girl and myself so much easier. Not knowing Goddi’s exact age or medical history complicated the path to get here but I am so glad she ended up in the right hands. After this experience, we might be switching from our usual vet to Indy 😅

Dr. Organist has taken care of our 8 year old doxin min pin since he was a puppy. We could not be more grateful for the detailed, quality care she provides every time. She has excellent bedside manner and is extremely patient/loving with our dog! She fairly charges and i recommend her to any animal owner she is by far the best vet we’ve ever had.

This place is the best! Took my kitten for his second appointment today — and I haven’t been able to stop talking about what a positive experience it was! Dr.Eric is very informative, knowledgeable, personable and caring. He’s very transparent with cost and ways to keep appointments budget friendly as well as being open to any questions I might have. Highly recommend Indy Vet — very affordable for such great quality care.
