Lovely and lively! This place was one of those that we just casually stepped into for a pick-me-up on a cold day and it did the job! The coffee was average, nothing too great but far from the worst. The flat white I ordered was a little bitter and burnt but still decent. It was a busy day when I arrived so that likely played a part. The staff seemed to be enjoying what they were doing and working together which was a nice sight to see. I definitely would love to visit again on a slower and less busy day!
Great location right next to the park and easy to stop by while walking around. Coffee is good and well made, but the experience feels rushed and very transactional. More of a convenient grab and go spot than a place you enjoy sitting in. Solid coffee, average overall experience. Uncomfortable seating, pumped up music, everything telling you please grab a coffee and leave. Noise.
Hands down the best coffee I’ve ever had. The latte was incredibly creamy and delicious. They did seem short staffed though. There was a line of people waiting, and there was no dedicated cashier taking orders. The same person had to take orders and make the coffee at the same time.
I visited Intelligentsia Coffee with high expectations, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The coffee I ordered had an unpleasant flavor, far from what one would expect from such a renowned brand; I actually had to throw it away. They should pay more attention to cup quality, since at a place that positions itself as a specialty coffee reference, the least you expect is a well-prepared and enjoyable product.
Disappointed - coffee / water ratio mismatch and lost the coffee's character. Have to say their service is very swift (reasonable wait time consider quite popular during Sat afternoon) - but again come for the coffee :( Do not recommend to come just for it
