Kevin is great guitar teacher — knowledgeable, patient, and definitely pushes you to improve (even when you’d rather slack 😅). I’ve been making progress and appreciate how much he cares about me improving.

My son has been a student at this music school for over a year now and the progress he has made is out of this world. Jam to the beat is a great music school to go to. Kevin comes from an elementary school teaching background, so he knows exactly how to communicate and get the best out of his students. I would recommend anyone to Jam to the Beat.
Kevin is a wonderful teacher. He is patient and really engaged my son on his likes. I loved that he pulled kids in with songs they knew and enjoyed!
We’ve had a wonderful experience with Kevin as my 6-year-old son’s drum teacher. From the very first lesson, he made learning both fun and engaging, helping my son develop confidence. One of the things we appreciate most is Kevin’s structured and thoughtful approach. He gives my son “homework” to practice between sessions, and at the end of each lesson, he takes the time to show me what they worked on—which helps my son feel proud and keeps us involved in his learning. He also makes a real effort to incorporate my son’s favorite songs into the lessons, which keeps him excited and motivated to practice. He organizes jams to practice with other kids. Kevin is patient, encouraging, and great at connecting with kids.
