My parents have been taking their trucks to this place for a long time. They are conveniently located in my neighborhood. The staff is super friendly, they dont try to upsale you. Their work has a warranty. Their prices are resonable. They try to save you money when they can. I recommend them highly. I took my yukon in because it had no oil pressure and I was not able to drive it. I seriously thought it needed a new oil pump. I had to setup a appointment to get it checked out. I dropped it off and received a notification when they were done inspecting it. They did a full diagnosis. I found out that the inside of the engine was covered in oil sluge and the oil sensor and screen were completely blocked. They recommend doing a oil flush and cleaning out the sensor. I had them do that. They also recommended other things to like the serpentine belt and radiator hose need to be replaced. It Needs a transmission oil change too. I need to get that done soon. I drove the truck home it works great!!! THANK YOU J's automotive. There's not enough honest mechanics out there like you guys. I'm now a customer for as long as a have my yukon (hopefully forever, lol)
These folks coordination and communication was top notch. Had to coordinate delivery of my vehicle without me being there along and that was a seamless process. Repairs were unbelievably fast and they had me up and running within 30 hours.
I had not been able to post a review due to unforeseen complications. However, I had been to this shop may times before and was somewhat satisfied with the work performed. However, the last time I was there was to repair/replace a heater core hose that was leaking antifreeze on my van. After the work was done, I drove my vehicle home and noticed that the leak was worse and that the repair was not performed or completed to insure that leak had been addressed. I sent video and pictures of the leak to the shop. I called to inform them that the vehicle was not drive-able because the leak was depleting the coolant. I was told to bring the vehicle in and they would get to it sometime, but assurance on when the work would be done was provided. I informed the shop that I could not drive the vehicle for fear of overheating. Again, I was told to find a way to get the vehicle to the shop and they would get to it (sometime). Never mind the warranty on work performed. Of course, the work billed was paid in full..never mind that. Never mind the cost (not cheap by any stretch) associated with towing the vehicle. To add to the frustration, I have been experiencing health issues and needed the vehicle for medical and physician appointments. Totally disappointed and will not be returning.
I have taken my car to Jay’s Automotive for several years now. They have earned my trust in their workmanship. They are very thorough from start to finish on the work being done on my car. I would recommend Jay’’s Automotive to anyone needing work done on their cars.
We moved here 4 years ago and needed to find a reliable mechanic. Jays had become out go-to for everything to do with our cars and has always done good by us and been honest. Very happy with their work. A mechanic you can trust is very valuable.
