Took my silver ring to get resized ( charged $60). It was only when I went to pick it up that Alex said "so, my sandblaster is broken so I couldn't get the finish right, so I used a wheel on it. I don't think you can tell." I absolutely can tell. The ring looks horrible and the wheel bounced around in a few areas causing even more wonkiness in the finish. The variety of finishes is 80% of what makes this ring interesting-- and it was destroyed. I should have been told before even handing my ring over that they would be unable to match the finish. Then I could have decided if I was comfortable with a compromise.
I’ve been here a few times and always had a great experience. I have a few Betsey Johnson watches that I needed some links taken out and new batteries. He did them in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommend.
They were very easy to work with, and quick turn-around time. There was a very small knick on my ring when I picked up, and they happily polished it out before I left. They have an option to rush orders as well!
We took my engagement and wedding bands in to be soldered together and not only were they able to have it done very quickly, it looks absolutely stunning! They were very friendly and helpful! Thank you so much!
I brought in my great grandmother's ring to be repaired as some of the diamonds fell out many years ago. I found out the diamonds were, in fact, glass, so Alex came up with a solution to replace the glass jewels with gold, and it turned out beautifully. He also sized it perfectly, and he also repaired another sapphire ring for me, too. I'm beyond happy with the work that was done!
