Was in town for family stuff and dropped in for a class. Man, John kicked my butt! John is a great instructor and the facility was awesome. If you are interested in boxing and in Buffalo I highly recommend it! Will definitely be stopping in when in town again.
I've been training with John (2x week) for over a year and highly recommend. As a beginner to boxing, he helped me build a strong foundation and always keeps sessions challenging and engaging. John has a creative approach that makes every workout enjoyable. John is not only a skilled coach but also a great friend who brings energy and a positive vibe to every session.
As someone with a background in the sport I knew John was the real deal the first time I talked to him about martial arts before I had even stepped foot in his gym John has a genuine passion for the art and beautifully blends lessons on technique into his workouts. The classes are not just a great workout but also a great place to really learn the sport and sharpen your skills. On top of the quality of his classes, John fosters a friendly community where all levels of experience are welcome. Highly recommend!
An amazing boxing experience!!! John is a true expert at what he does- he creates a welcoming environment for people starting at all levels in boxing or fitness and gives perfect, patient coaching to help you improve over time. He puts a lot of thought into crafting well rounded and creative sessions with every workout or boxing round. He will challenge you to push yourself every time but you will never feel defeated, always empowered and motivated to come back! I’ve tried everything and always struggled to make time for exercise. Now, I look forward to my sessions every week at Johnny’s and my strength, overall fitness and endurance is better than it’s been in decades. It will be one of your favorite things to do each week. Highly recommend!!!
John is a great coach!! He pushes you beyond your mental limitations, keeps a clean and well organized facility,and he checks in on me when I’m having a rough time in my personal life! I’d recommend johnnys boxing a million times wether you’re training for fun or a professional bout!!
