This is undoubtedly fun. The circuit and the kart are better than I thought initially. When the karts are completely unlocked, they go fast and are very fun. But... many times the race was stopped or slowed down because of someone bumping into the guard rail or spinning. It is a bit annoying having people that don't know at all how to drive or let pass the fastest one. But I guess this is understandable. Definitely the most annoying part was, at one point, during our second ride, the computer that was keeping the timing and positions glitched and none of the times, laps, or positions were recorded. It is part of the fun seeing how fast you can go and see if you get the best time lap. Besides this glitch, overall it was a fun experience and I will probably go back.
I’ve been going to K1 Speed for years and have always had a good experience, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. We checked in at 1:00 PM and were told there would be a 2-hour wait. That was fine, as we had a reservation elsewhere at 5:00 PM and planned accordingly. After waiting 2 hours and 30 minutes, we checked back with the front desk only to be told it would be another hour before our race, nearly doubling the originally quoted wait time. To make matters worse, this visit was meant to be part of my birthday, which made the experience even more frustrating. I understand delays happen, but the lack of accurate wait-time management and communication was disappointing and very unlike my past experiences here. I hope this was an off day, but this definitely needs improvement.
First time and planning to go back had so much fun eve though the race last 10 minutes is worth it, might take some time the wait list, you can have snack, drink or just sit in the couch for you turn.
Went for the first time, with my 8yr old son. He raced juniors while I raced adults, but the crew was great at alternating races, so it never felt like either of us were waiting. We each did 3 races and my body was sore but will def be returning
My 7-year-old had been waiting forever to go go-karting at K1 Speed, but he was always just a bit too short. He finally hit the 48-inch mark, and we were so excited to check it out. This was the second K1 location I've visited, and the customer service was absolutely top-notch. My older son was feeling a little nervous about racing other kids. The staff noticed and went above and beyond, setting up a private session just for him and his brother. They both ended up having an absolute blast! We also grabbed some food, and while they initially got our order wrong, they were incredibly quick to fix it and even threw in a little extra for us. The whole facility was clean and well-maintained, and the operations felt very smooth. We'll definitely be back, and I'm even thinking about signing my kids up for their racing classes. I'm so glad we came here—it made my son's first go-karting experience truly special.
