Kaizen Sushi PDX bietet ein kompaktes, einladendes Sushi-Erlebnis in der Nähe der Burnside-Straße, mit frisch importierten Zutaten und saisonalen Gerichten. Gäste genießen Hamachi-Carpaccio, Naruto-Maki, den Kaizen-Roll und die B-Side, sowie eine Vielzahl von Austern und Rolls wie Sunshine und Keep Portland Weird. Die Köche Carlos und Alex bereiten Nigiri an der Sushi-Bar zu; am Wochenende wird Fisch direkt aus Japan eingeflogen. Für ein noch besseres Erlebnis wird das Essen im Obergeschoss empfohlen.

Small spot near Burnside with limited space. Amazing offerings including a list of seasonal items. We always get edamame and miso soup. We also got the hamachi carpaccio which was excellent. We got three rolls which were all very nice; the naruto maki, the kaizen, and the b-side were good for diffent reasons. The naruto roll was cucumber wrapped, which was hard to eat but delicious and i would order it again. The kaizen was the overall best, but the scallop was tender and fresh on the bside, they were all very good. Highly recommend

This place is our go-to sushi spot in Portland! They have fresh import fish from Japan on weekends that are to die for. Recommend upstairs dining for an enhanced experience. 10/10 food 10/10 service 10/10 atmosphere

Amazing Sushi! My wife and I sat at the Sushi bar while we dined at Kaizen, and it was excellent. A very calm, welcoming environment. The Sushi was outstanding, so good! We have a mixed of rolls and all were fantastic. Restaurant was very clear, and staff were awesome! Will definitely be back

Seafood was really fresh and very great flavors. We order oysters as an appetizer, absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. We ordered Albacore, Keep Portland Weird, and Sunshine rolls. All very good.

Shout out to Chef Carlos and Chef Alex for the great meal and killer sushi! I had the sushi counter all to myself and enjoyed watching the chefs utilize their skills and put out awesome food. They had nigiri specials with fish flown in that day from Japan. I found it impressive that they were already featured in Eater as a must try in Old Town with the relative short time they’ve been open. With this success I don’t doubt they’ll be around for a while.
