I lost one sock so I had one Keiki Kingdom grip sock and generic orange grip sock (even the same color!) And the staff made me get back in line, while pregnant with 3 kids in tow, to purchase socks. We had already paid to go in and lost 35 minutes of play time waiting in line to buy socks when I was already wearing some. On top of that, about a third of their activities are pay to play after already paying premium entry prices. Several included games are broken. This should be half the price and if there were any comparable alternatives on island these guys would lose significant business.
Kind of disappointed. Came here like a year ago and rated it 5 stars. Today took my son as an adventure before schools starts tomorrow. Seems like everything was broken/not working. Should have been like half priced as 2 hours was $26 for him, $8 for me and not to mention you have to buy socks if you havent before. Wished I could have rated it more like 2.5 stars today. Felt 3 was too high but 2 would not be kind. Hoping things change and get fix, otherwise, not coming back :(
Keiki Kingdom is one of those places where kids immediately lose their minds in excitement and parents immediately start doing mental math. Parking was fairly easy and lockers are included which is a big win. Pro tip put your water bottles in the lockers because drinks are not allowed in the play areas and you will be walking back and forth if you forget. It was $70 for a family of 4. The downstairs area is great for smaller kids with lots to climb crawl and explore but a few of the slides are surprisingly steep so keep an eye out if you have little ones who go full send without hesitation. Everything feels designed to burn energy fast which is exactly the point. Now let’s talk about the real danger zone the store. Toys are $20 and up and Dippin Dots are $5 which makes it feel less like a gift shop and more like a carefully designed financial ambush. Enter at your own risk. There is also a mandatory branded sock purchase with a $3 upcharge which feels unnecessary and a little scammy especially if you already brought perfectly good socks. One downside was that quite a few games and some play areas were closed which was disappointing and made the space feel smaller than expected. Upstairs is where the kids really want to be and the obstacle courses are legitimately awesome. They are challenging fun and great for burning off energy but lines can get long on weekends and most of the video games upstairs were closed during our visit which took away from the overall experience. Keiki Kingdom is still a solid option for getting kids active and tired especially on a hot or rainy day. Just go in prepared lock up your water avoid eye contact with the gift shop and manage expectations if it is busy or if parts of the place are closed. The kids will still have a blast even if your wallet takes a hit along the way.
Keiki Kingdom was so much nicer when it first opened. Now, most of the stuff in the place is broken and falling apart. The claw machines are everywhere, and there are hardly any staff around to help or keep things clean. It feels neglected and disappointing. Also, a lot of the toys and prizes look like cheap imports from China that probably wouldn’t even meet legal safety standards in America. That really worries me as a parent. It doesn't feel like a safe or well-maintained environment anymore. Definitely not worth the price or the trip.
I visited “Keiki Kingdom” on a weekday, which was enjoyable due to the light crowd. The facility is spacious, and I was impressed by its cleanliness; everything felt fresh with no unpleasant odors. The staff was courteous and friendly. However, the overall cost came as a shock. After paying the entrance fee for two adults and three kids, along with mandatory non-slip socks, the total reached $145 for just two hours of play. There were numerous additional games that required extra fees, which felt like a tactic to squeeze more money from us. As parents who already spent a significant amount to enter, it was frustrating to have our kids pressured into wanting to spend even more on games like the claw machines. An ongoing issue during our Wednesday visit was the number of out-of-order machines. It seemed intentional that so many were down, as there were about 5-6 items that weren't functioning, greatly detracting from our experience. Given the price we paid, I expect at least a few operational games, and had many been out of service, a discount should have been offered. While my kids made the best of what was available and had fun, from a parent's perspective, the overall experience did not match the high price. When paying premium rates, we anticipate a premium experience, and for that reason, I likely won't return.
