My daughter has danced in Koltun Ballet Boston for the past two years and we are very pleased that we found the school when we just moved to the area two years ago. My daughter made great progress in the technique, musicality, and artistic expression of her ballet under the coaching of the very experienced/top-notched instructors (previous Mariinsky and Bolshoi ballet stars) Alexandra, Alex, and London. The training is very rigorous and is suitable for serious and committed students. The instructors always provide constructive feedback and encouragement to the students which effectively helps the students. The environment is very supportive. All the instructors are very caring and provide the best opportunities and platforms to the students, the students also encourage and support each other as well. My daughter has developed great friendships with other girls in the school. The school (also a YAGP Best school for many years) is a blessing to the Boston Ballet Community.
My oldest son had a wonderful time dancing with Koltun ballet this summer for their summer youth intensive. The directors and faculty are really nice and encouraging, and both the classical technique and contemporary choreography are of the highest class. And he improved so much in just a few short weeks! Will definitely audition for the summer program again, and wish we lived closer so he could train with Koltun year-round.
