Kumon has helped my children maintain their great grades and get ahead of any reading or math issues. We are very happy with the staff at this location and plan to stay for years to come until the kids complete the programs.

Kumon has been a great program for my daughter, we tried to teach her maths and reading at home, it didn’t go as well. Right after she joined kumon she learned a lot at a good pace, where by the time she had to go for her kindergarten she was already ahead of the school. It was a great confidence booster for my child and it really made our job easier as parents. This very kumon facility is great as I have seen it over the years with their consistent staff.

Son (second grader) in both math and reading. The pace is reasonable. He gets around 180-200 math problems per day during the year. The reading is around 8-10 pages focused on reading comprehension, spelling, capitalization and punctuation. The repetitive nature of the math program really locks in the memorization. Kumon has improved his math scores at school considerably and he is in a fairly fast moving program. Reading has improved his school scores as well but not to the same level as the math. He loves to read but doesn't remember everything he reads. The current lessons are focusing more on recall of details from the short stories and he is progressing. This will help him in the second half of his school year where his class will be completing 4 book reports. The only thing I cannot tell is if the program concentrates on handwriting skills. This is the one area we have put in a lot of time at home to help improve. He gets graded on this at school and he's is struggling. His turned in work seems to not consider handwriting skills in the grading. This to me is minor as he has the rest of his life to figure out. I would highly recommend Kumon for anyone that could use the extra work to sharpen their childs skills.

My 11 year old daughter has been attending Kumon for two years. We have seen an overall increase in her math scores and confidence. The staff are all very patient and nice. Kumon Herndon Place has been accommodating. Not only has Kumon helped with my daughter’s math scores, it has taught her life skills that she will carry on as she becomes an adult. Thank you so much! We appreciate you!

Ms. Leslie and Ms. Simrat at Kumon are super sweet and very patient. My son started Kumon about a year ago and it has helped him tremendously! His math grades have improved and so has his reading comprehension. If your child needs a little bit of a boost, would recommend enrolling in Kumon on Herndon and Milburn.
