Signing up was easy and the staff (Joshua) was super friendly and knowledgeable. The gym is clean, well organized, and has everything I need to stay consistent. Looking forward to great results!
Im officially a member but it came with strife... there was a bit of a discrepancy with the free pass as online it is 3days but at the location it is 7 days -- I won't get into too much details but ill say that Joshua Dover , a manager at the location was professional and calm enough to help resolve the issue and presented me with a courtesy / compliments of him as I was a bit upset at the treatment at front desk but Joshua went ahead to explain and put it to rest . I got a text message about a promo to sign up and luckily enough i got a call from Joshua while on the cycle on the gym so I ran over to get signed up and fully explained the process, liabilities, payments, programs and asked how I enjoyed the gym so far . I did explained my pros and cons and I appreciated that. He seems to be a staple at the location as he is ALWAYS here when I come on the weekends and Im here for several hours. Very calm, professionalism, helpful, patient (due to my attitude for front desk) and seems like he actually loves his job . That is a breath of fresh air to see. Thank you again LA FITNESS - NEWARK
I had a great experience at LA Fitness Newark. The gym is clean, well-maintained, and has a good variety of equipment. What really stood out was Azad one of the workers. He was friendly, patient, and took the time to answer my questions and make sure I felt comfortable using the equipment. Customer service like that makes a big difference and definitely makes me want to keep coming back. Highly recommend this location!
Jonathan, Joshua & Tyrel were a great help. They gave me a very detailed tour and presentation. It was tailored specifically to my needs and made joining the gym very easy & encouraging. I was even motivated to get a trainer! Looking forward to starting my fitness journey here at LA Fitness in Newark. If you come here to check it out please see them first!!
I know first hand how intimidating the gym can be for people starting a new fitness journey. I signed up for personal training with Luis and he’s been so great! Honestly all the staff here are so helpful and encouraging, they feel like family. I scheduled a training session on my birthday recently and when I came in, the staff snuck out to surprised me with a cake & sing me happy birthday. I love it here!
