Jazz is a great instructor! He actually teaches you how to fight! The mastery he has lets him adapt a fighting style made solely for you at your level. Not only will it be customized to fit your fighting style, but he pushes you past the capacities of your outer limits that you think are humanly possible without breaking your body. If you're an experienced martial artist, he will engage you at your appropriate level beyond the horizons! If you're a beginner, he'll train with you like a beginner. If you're an experienced martial artist, he'll train with you at a more advanced level!
My family and I absolutely loved this place so so much. We’re not sure if it’s for our son just yet, maybe he’s a little young and shy for now. But if/when he’s ready to go back we WILL be coming back here. Mr. Lusk is a great instructor with SO much patience. He gets down to the little kid levels and explains things in ways that they can understand, which I found to be so helpful. Everyone in there was very kind. Very awesome atmosphere! I highly recommend 🥋
I have been studying Kali at this academy for more than three years now. I have also enrolled my three children and I in the Taekwando classes, taught by a International Taekwando Federation 5 degree black belt and U.S. Champion Matt Lusk. This is a family owned operation, and everyone that works there LOVES their martial art. The place is clean and the teachers World Class level practitioners (E.g., Matt Lusk as mentioned above). I love this place!
This is our second week and we LOVE it! Kids are having a blast. Instructors are great with the kids. Cant wait to see the growth for these guys.
Mr. Lusk is exemplary. He defines what it means to be a role model and an instructor. He is very knowledgeable and has experience in a multitude of the arts. This school does a very good job of creating a sense of community. Everyone here is very kind. It is a very positive place. My family and I felt comfortable immediately. Every so often they do a special event for the kids, such as, movie nights and lightsaber building. Also, Mr. Lusk is very conscious of making sure he doesn't push any of the older folks too hard. One more plus, you don't have to worry about signing a contract. All payments are from month-to-month and he offers a free trial.
