Worst company ever. They will send some sketchy workers to your house and if anything goes wrong they will not show any responsibility. Broke my sprinklers and several no shows. Will also claim to have done work never completed.
LawnStarter is getting one star only because I’m required to leave at least one star. I would give zero if I could. In December 2024 we requested to switch our rental property to a monthly service rather than bi-weekly for our lawn mowing. We do not live at the house, it is rented out to tenants. I was billed for two biweekly services PLUS a monthly fee in December. I contacted my landscaper through the app and he said he wasn’t able to help me, I needed to call the company. I asked him what number I needed to call. He continued to say he was sending quotes (no idea where these quotes were), and ignore the fact that I needed the customer service number. I kept messaging him asking for the phone number and kept getting ignored or said he didn’t know the number to call or just that he sent more quotes. Our tenants moved out today and I received photos of a completely dead lawn. So what has this guy even been mowing for the past 4+ months? I FINALLY located a customer service number after digging through Google and they are telling me they can’t do anything about a refund because it’s been 5 days. 5 days??? That’s all they provide their customers? Unbelievable. They also told me that they don’t offer monthly services for spring and summer (only bi-weekly), but I never received a notice that they were switching us back to biweekly. I’m absolutely livid. Terrible customer service from the guy who actually mowed our “lawn” and even worse from the team at LawnStarter. I’ll be filing a grievance with my bank in hopes to at least recoup some of this money. Avoid this company. They are total scams.
Still happy having service here no matter who comes each week. I believe our yard intimidates them, Ronald was a good, hard worker, on time. Can’t loose, great service. Great communication, fair pricing and a blessing when help is needed. Try them! It’s a nice treat especially when you are a senior. 😀
I definitely would recommend LawnStar to anyone. Price is very reasonable and the lawn is good work as well. My pro Juan Rodriguez did an amazing job on my front and back yard. Thank you Juan, I’m so glad I change my pro and ended up with you :-)
I signed up to have my lawn service every other week. I was quoted $57 plus tips. From the moment I signed up with the LawnStarter, had nothing but problems. No show on the first scheduled lawn service so the next day after complaining, they sent someone to cut my lawn. The second service after 1 week. Their crew wanted an additional $487.80 to do my lawn. I turned it down. So my lawn was not done. Their crew said that we need Cleanups that include removal and cleanup of debris, such as rocks, mulch, pet waste, and more with a disposal option. And will require 4 hours, 6 people to do the work. My yard was just done by LawnStarter just last week and was completed less than 2 hours max. The pictures posted were from today May 16, 2024 which was one week after it was serviced. We do have 2 small dogs but I do pick up their waste daily. The debris in the yard was just cleaned up by my husband yesterday. No rocks to pick up. Mostly just the leaves that have fallen but not heavily. The additional work should not cost $487.80 The neighbor across the street that maintains their yard quoted me $80 every other week to maintain my yard.
