Went in Today (12/02) The chocolate here was excellent, but the customer service could definitely be improved. Upon entering i was met with blank stares, which made me feel a bit unwelcome. I had to initiate the conversation by asking about a specific type of chocolate. After that, they asked if I wanted something, but didn't offer any details about what they had available. I only found out they offered samples after I placed an order for a specific item. As a customer, I shouldn't have to pull information out of the staff they should be welcoming, and helpful in showcasing their products.
Love love love their decadent chocolate. I have been trying to get my hands on the Dubai chocolate for a year now: I popped in this weekend not expecting them to have it but surprisingly they weren’t sold out of it yet! I bought $6 worth to try. The milk chocolate outside was good. The pistachios filling was nice and crunchy and not too sweet. Good balance. The best I have tried. I also sampled their milk hazelnut which was yum. The dark chocolate berry was even better!
I heard Laderach makes the best chocolates in the world. I didn't believe them until I bought a box of truffles. Now I'm a believer. Be prepared to pay a hefty price for a box those delicious chocolates. I heard their Dubai chocolates are outstanding too but are sold out much too quickly!
Khang was so friendly and helpful! We tried a variety of chocolate. Everything was delicious! The mini mousses were too sweet for us but we loved the blocks of chocolate with cornflakes and the almond Lacey bars. They have a wide variety of truffles too (and they let you taste everything). This place is a must go!!!
Laderach is a Belgian style specialty chocolate shop. If you are looking for a selection of distinctive chocolate flavors, this is the right place. When I come here to buy a box of chocolates, I'll always get a larger size, simply because they have so many flavors, all distinct from each other and every one of them is delicious. When I want to get a special gift for someone, this is among my first choices. The staff is always friendly, helping me choose a great selection of chocolates. I always enjoy hanging out here and checking out the great merchandise.
