Huge shout-out to Lincoln Landscape! This is my second time using them, and once again they exceeded expectations. Both of my projects were a bit abnormal, but they were open to the challenge and completed everything in a timely, professional manner. They took great care of my property—never tearing up the yard and always laying down large plywood sheets to protect the sod from their machinery. This year they even tracked a little mud onto the driveway and went out of their way to power-wash it, leaving everything looking pristine. I also appreciate their sales team. Every person I’ve interacted with has been fantastic—friendly, honest, and willing to talk through ideas even when it’s not about making a sale. I highly recommend Lincoln Landscape for any future project!
Lincoln Landscaping completed a nearly 60 foot paver pathway for our home. Levi created the plan and ensured everything was moving along as it should. If I had any requests or concerns, he addressed them. Troy completed the actual hardscaping for the project and faced some significant challenges, including tremendous heat, odd obstacles, drainage, and grading issues. Troy showed great craftmanship in solving some of the challenges, as well, utilizing boulder additions, extremely precise paver cutting, and leveling up along an existing concrete path. It looks extraordinary and everyone who sees it is stunned. Thank you!
On 4/9/24 I met with Darrell from Lincoln Landscaping for a consultation about ideas for a large pollinator garden. The most important request I had, was that I ONLY wanted grays, whites, charcoals, blacks, for the rocks & edging, to coincide with our existing landscaping & house colors, absolutely no browns. Darrell assured me 'that will not be a problem'. He emailed me my initial estimate with his ideas, we made several changes, then planned to move fwd, he said it may be 4-6 wks until they could get started. Approx 8 wks later I got notification they were going to start the project, they arrived 6/17/24. The first couple of days, things were looking good! It was very hot, I felt bad for the landscapers, so I made sure to have a cooler full of Gatorade's & water every day. On the 2nd day I gave each of them a $50 bill as a token of my appreciation for their hard work. I believe they finished up on day 3, I was at work. When I got home I was super excited to see the final result. I walked down to the garden & immediately noticed that the boulders they brought in, were mostly brown, as well as the flagstone, not anywhere near the grays/charcoals that I requested. The plants appeared like they were quickly thrown in the ground, most of them having mulch on top of them, many of the stalks/plants were broke, & all 3 of my goldenrods were planted at an angle, it looked awful! I contacted Darrell, so he came out to look... (by this time 2 of my 3 yarrow plants were nearly dead as well as 1 goldenrod), I showed him my concerns & let him know I was a little frustrated bc this project was close to $10K & I had better hopes. He reassured me they would replace the plants & it would not count towards my 1 year warranty. It was also at this time that he decided to tell me that unfortunately they can't 'guarantee' rock colors since they are 'natural' & that a lot of them are browns, which is absolutely NOT what he told me during the consultation. If this was not something they could not fulfill, he should have never made it seem that way, or at the very least he could have showed me, before putting them in the bed. Fast fwd a couple wks after this, my plants never got replaced, I sent pics to Darrell on 6/27/24 showing him how sad they looked, of which he just said they were in 'shock' & more than likely will come out of it. At some point he contacted another one of their employees Ed who then emailed me on 9/16/24 to say they would be over later this same day to replace the plants. I had NO forewarning, & was actually at the hospital dealing with a family emergency, so I emailed Ed back & asked if we could postpone to the following Monday...never got a reply, so I emailed him again 3 days later on 9/19/24, he replied stating he amended the replacement list and that 'we will get over on a Monday as soon as we had brought these plants in' (verbatim)...that was nearly 8 wks ago, as of writing this it is 11/11/24 and I haven't heard a word from them. I saved a lot of hard earned money for this project and was trying to be so careful with who I decided to go with. I had a good feeling about Darrell & the company as a whole, they seemed reputable. If you read over their web page it specifically states 'if youre not happy, then neither are we', 'If we make a mistake, we make it right in a timely manner'. Sadly, those words can't be farther from the truth. I have had to spend a lot of extra time, energy, phone calls, emails etc just to get what I paid for, yet they still have not fixed the issues. I caution anyone seeking landscaping services to do your research. There are a ton of local companies around here that want to do right by you, there are a lot of new, eager people who would love to have your business. Lincoln landscaping seems to have way too many other projects going on, & are not concerned with fixing their errors. I spent a lot of money, only to look at a garden all summer long with many dead plants & brown stones. Words will never express my disappointment and frustration that has come along this whole process.
My grandmother contracted Lincoln landscaping for a retaining wall removal of trees and re-landscaping an area with some bushes. There were some discrepancies in the beginning. Lincoln landscaping stepped up going beyond expectations to make sure that my grandmother was happy with their products design and work. We are very happy with the retaining wall and Re-landscaped areas!
