Yum! Is the best way to describe Lior’s bakery! We discovered it a few years back and love their fresh baked goods! Scrumptious is another word I would use to describe their goods!
Lior The Baker is one of those places where you can immediately tell care goes into every loaf. The bread has excellent texture and depth of flavor, especially the sourdough, which is perfectly baked with a crisp crust and soft interior. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. It’s a great spot if you appreciate real artisan bread and want something that stands out from typical bakery options. I always look forward to picking up a loaf when it’s available.
I just had the most amazing cheese Danish of my life! The pastry was soft, flaky and sweet, the cheese was delicious. I will definitely be back 😃 We just wanted a little something so we only got two items but I would love to try more from this place! They do not have coffee so you might want to grab some first. This also does not have seating but more of a pick up and go type of place. I would like to try the challah next, it looks delicious.
Stopped by because my grandson saw some kind of video showing all the delicious patries. Lior The Baker is a Jewish Bakery located in Scottsdale. We ordered a few pastries and it was sweet. The challah bread is a braded bread that is traditionally eaten on ceremonial occasions. My family and I broke bread together. Cute quaint spot.
Heard great things about this place but was extremely disappointed. First, they overcharged me, but I couldn't see what they were charging because they do not have any screens facing the customers showing the charges. Second, they are already outrageously expensive ($15 for a dozen cookies, $25 for a babka), so overcharging is inexcusable. Third, they have horrible customer service. They seemed super annoyed that we were in the shop on a Friday afternoon. When I called and informed them that they overcharged me, they just told me there was nothing they could do about it because "that's just how the computer system processes orders." Fourth, I can forgive a lot from a small local business if it's good... but it just plain wasn't, The rugelach are overwhelmingly sweet and mushy. The babka was raw in the middle. This place is one and done for us and I would suggest you avoid it as well.
