Liquor Barn has a wide assortment of products that I stock my home bar with to entertain. I recently got the red hull Amish popcorn for my popcorn machine in my Home Theater Room while I was buying more bottles and some Knob Creek Whiskey Glasses to furnish my Home Bar.
Great selection of spirits employees are very helpful in finding what you need or want. If you’re looking for a special bottle, this is a good place to start great selection of bourbon. Outstanding top shelf selection. I recommend it’s worth a visit.
Most extensive collection of bourbon I’ve ever seen. This store has it all! And the staff is friendly AND helpful! A must stop!

This might be one of my go-to stops when passing through Lexington, KY because...wow! The Liquor Barn takes great pride in featuring Kentucky brewed and distilled products. I'm mostly a craft beer person myself so my experience will focus on that. That said, I love how spacious and clean the store is and that it stands out. Most liquor stores I've been to kind of blend in; the Liquor Barn lets you know you're at a Liquor Barn. While I didn't have time to really explore the store, they also carry specialty grocery items in addition to their various liquor products. They also carry soft drinks as well and that includes Ale81 and its specialty flavors. They have their craft beer mostly in one aisle but it's well organized. They have their local brews (Lexington, Cincinnati and Louisville locales) as well as other craft brews. I even like that they have a section dedicated to purchasing singles. That comes in handy when you want to try something but can't quite commit to a six-pack. Many fun varieties as well. One thing I didn't do and maybe I should have was try one of the bourbon samples they had in-store that day. This is the only store I can immediately thing of that lets you sample bourbon and not the cheap stuff. The samples they had were $80-$100 bottles they were sampling too. They even sometimes get items like official Kentucky Derby glasses as well that are worth a grab if commemorative glasses are your thing. If you're in the Lexington area and are looking for good brews, the Liquor Barn is definitely the spot to check out.
