This has become my local! Ant is an absolute angel and helps me out with all my shenanigans every time- whether it’s a party, solo date night or if i’m hosting an event. The staff are incredible and I find myself popping in everytime i grocery just to say hi!
I’m a local in the Valley and have been coming here for a long time. It’s well known among locals that the fridges often don’t work properly — most of the time the drinks are warm, even inside the cool rooms. Despite that, I kept coming back because the ladies working there have always been friendly and respectful. Unfortunately, my last two visits have been very disappointing because of a male employee named Ant. Last night he refused service after I simply asked to swap a six-pack from the case to get a few cold beers. His attitude was rude and confrontational, which made the whole experience unpleasant. I understand it’s hard to find good staff, but customer service clearly isn’t for him. I won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend this place anymore — especially considering the warm drinks, uncompetitive prices, and poor service. It’s a shame because the rest of the staff are great, but because of Ant, this business loses loyal local customers like me. One star only because there’s no option for zero.
I went in with no idea what I wanted. Left with the best two bottles of wine I’ve ever had. Ant knows what he’s doing and he damn well knows it. Thank you Ant - you made my Friday afternoon.
I was just the subject of a racist and extremely hostile attack by the person currently at the counter 11/8/2025 at 6:15 pm, for daring to ask for the price of a wine bottle while he chit chatted with a friend after she had already finished her purchase. Not only that, I was refused service and kicked out rudely, while he continued his conversation with her. I considered reporting to cops and manager but why even bother. Best to never go again to a place that hires such staff to harrass customers. I used to go there a while back and the staff was nicer but probably they dont work there anymore. Wendy, the manager, should probably train her staff some costumer service.
My neighbour wine and spirits store has a large variety of different kind of wines, their fridge that occupies the entire wall is full of differ kinds drinks. The staff or owner are very pleasant and knowledgeable if you have a question. The store is very clean with polish floors. You will find it easy find your favorite or to give to someone on a special Occassion. They have weekly specials written on a blackboard as you enter the store. There’s a lot of parking on the same level or the lower level. Highly recommended. Come and visit them
