Pregnancy Support I just had to share my wonderful experience with Dr Maurice and the whole team at Lisburn Chiropractors because it truly has transformed my third trimester pregnancy experience. I first contacted the clinic the week before Christmas at 36 weeks in absolute agony with pelvic girdle/SPD pain. I could hardly lift my feet or stand and was so stressed, upset and defeated with being so immobile. The wonderful team managed to fit me in before the Christmas break even with no appointments because they really felt for me. They really went above and beyond. As soon as I walked in I knew I would be well looked after. I received such a warm welcome and care from Louise and Natasha and when I met Dr Maurice, all I can say is that he was like a ray of sunshine. What a special practitioner. Warm, empathetic and incredibly knowledgeable on pre and post natal care. I was quickly assessed and after just two adjustments over two visits, I felt such a relief and was able to stand and walk as well as can be for being 37 weeks pregnant. By the third week, I really did have my confidence and strength back, both physically and emotionally and I cannot stress how amazing the adjustments were in making me feel calm and empowered and putting me in the sympathetic nervous system. I visited Dr Maurice today for a last adjustment today at 40+1 weeks and I’m walking better than I was at the final stages of pregnancy compared to 36 weeks. I will absolutely be back again postpartum because Dr Maurice is just so knowledgeable on babies and how to support women pre and post naturally. I’m so glad I found him! To all the pregnant women out there, if you have any pains or niggles get to Dr Maurice. My only regret is that I didn’t go sooner! Many thanks again to the whole team for making me feel so looked after.
The atmosphere in the clinic is welcoming and calm. The girls at the desk are very professional and caring. Dr. Nick himself is also very professional and makes you feel listened to. On your first appointment he takes his time with the intake to get a better sense of the whole person and not just the symptoms. I had a lot of back and neck pain and wasn't able to move very much without it hurting which limited my movement. While I still have issues the team provide an efficient ongoing service which has significantly alleviated the pain. I can strongly recommend the practice.
I had been receiving really severe back pain for several weeks to the point where I could barely walk when I first came to Lisburn Chiropractic Clinic. From the initial consultation and scans Nick quickly diagnosed a condition called Spondylolisthesis and was very informative on how it should be treated providing me with advice and exercises to do at home in addition to the adjustments he has been doing with me in the clinic. I have been seeing Nick twice a week for 3 months now and my back pain is almost non existent. I would definitely recommend!
I've been a fan of chiropractic care for many years but had to change from my usual chiropractor when I moved. There's a lot of bad press about Chiropractors injuring people and I was very nervous coming in and trusting someone new. But I've developed a really crippling neck pain and many rounds of physiotherapy both on NHS and privately had not helped so I took the gamble and let me tell you... it paid off tenfold! After my first appointment I have finally felt pain free for a first time in over a year. I absolutely love Lisburn Chiropractic Clinic. The ambience of the place feels more like a luxury spa than a clinical doctor office which definitely helps with the nerves. The ladies at reception are so warm and friendly, nothing feels too much trouble even if you reschedule your appointments or ask for a cup of coffee. The chiropractor, Nick, is not only a great professional who really understands the human body and knows what he is doing but he is also very kind and patient. When you're in constant pain your nervous system tends to be overstimulated and Nick has this way about him that not only puts you at ease but just his voice alone is very calming. I found that now, thanks to regular appointments I'm not only pain free but I also feel calmer, I sleep better, and my ADHD is bothering me less. Overall I highly recommend using their services. Trust me you won't regret it.
