This place is clean, the atmosphere is comforting, and the staff is amazing! They have a vegetarian section on the menu, and the combinations are great. Their beans and rice taste like my grandma's, which is hard to find near me. I live in Michigan and drive to Toledo to visit. The margaritas are divine, with fruit on the side of the cup, which is a very nice touch and a fun surprise. When we have a bad day out a great day, I know what will be in my mind- getting out to our new regular Mexican restaurant! The red sauce is so good, I imagine everything else I want it on in my life. Eggs? Toasted sandwiches? What a dream, love this place and the people here.
These guys make darn good food and a mean marg. I think they also run about six food trucks? I don't remember what i counted. If you're running six food trucks, seems to be a sign the food is pretty good. At least i did. They make solid food in a great atmosphere with prompt service and great drinks. What more could you ask for?
Cheese dip, salsa and chips all very good. Margaritas were quite tasty. All the food was good. Price a little high but in par with other Mexican restaurants in the area.
FOOD SAFETY ALERT!!! We ordered food through DoorDash and our food was raw— uncooked completely. Specially the soups. The guacamole was BLACK and gross. I called the restaurant to let them know as a courtesy (since we can get a refund through DoorDash) and they didn’t even care. They were angry that we called to make them aware of their food quality instead of being grateful for the feedback. Terrible service and awful food. I don’t see this restaurant thriving in this competitive market, unless they make some serious internal changes.
This place is kind of like a diamond in the rough. Driving by you would never suspect but once you're inside and get some food you're going to love this place. We came here based on a recommendation and I'm really glad we listened. Service was friendly chips and salsa were great some of the better salsa we've had a Mexican restaurant. The food was fresh and hot and tasted great but the fried banana was the bomb. I think this is the first time I've ever gotten dessert at a Mexican restaurant and I think I'd be tempted just to come for that.
