Super friendly waitress and fast service. Our coffee cups were never empty. Big menu with a wide variety of choices, everything we ordered was delicious!
As a former ServSafe proctor and food safety instructor, I’ve tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt more than once. It used to be a go-to spot for my family. But lately we’ve had a few issues with unsafe food practices and undercooked meals. Today was the final straw. My wife found a hair in her home fries. Annoying, but mistakes happen. The part that threw us off was how fast the replacement came out. Our server was gone maybe a minute or two, then suddenly had a completely new plate. Maybe it was fresh, maybe it wasn’t, but the optics weren’t great. My wife finally tried to eat again, and not even two minutes later we found another hair on our two-year-old’s pancakes. At that point we were done. The appetite leaves the building pretty quick after that. What surprised me was being expected to pay for my own plate even though none of us ended up eating anything. I get that times are tough, but this wasn’t a normal situation. I paid and left, but that’s it for us. We won’t be back, and honestly I’d recommend Whataburger before sending anyone here again
Great place for breakfast! Lots of seating, competent staff, delicious food, and good service! I don’t remember which location I went to, though, so hoping I chose correctly. Excited to come back to Lubbock for work and will come here again!
We stopped in here to grab a bite to eat when my youngest was craving breakfast for lunch. The service was good. It took a really long time to get our order. My husband said his plate was really good. My oldest said his waffles were ok. The youngest loved his pancakes. They were out of what I wanted so I just ended up sharing off of everyone's plate.
We used to eat there frequently, but after this experience we will never return! The restaurant itself seemed run down. I can forgive that given the pandemic times we've all struggled through. What I cannot forgive is the overall experience. After being seated we asked for a bit more time to look over the menu, having not been for a while I was having a hard time deciding. Our waitress seemed to forget we were there. It took her 20 mins to even take our order. When she finally took our order it took an additional hour and one of us checking with another staff member to get our food out. When our food finally arrived it had clearly been sitting for quite some time as it was all lukewarm-cold. They did not get it right either. My husband should have had cheese which was missing, my bacon should have been well done and was floppy, my eggs were supposed to be soft scrambled I was brought fries eggs and when the scrambled eggs were finally brought they were hard scrambled, none of our toast had butter and there was none on the table, and my kids' pancakes had sat for so long they had become mushy from the strawberries. Our waitress then passed our table 4 times without even asking how everything had come out, or of we needed anything else. A person I assume was a manager came to our table to clear it, but did not enquire about our experience, or how our food was. I was thorough disappointed! Not worth a visit.
