I’m not someone who normally leaves negative reviews, but this experience truly warrants one. My sister and I were visiting Denver and decided to stop by this location. We were told a server would come by our bowling lane, but no one checked on us for a long time. We ended up having to go to the bar just to order drinks. When we were ready for food, still no one had come by, so we asked another server if anyone was assigned to us. Eventually someone did come over, but the service was extremely inattentive. We ordered some food and drinks and the only other time we were checked on was when our server drop off the check, long before we were ready for it. At that point I was already frustrated and didn’t feel like debating it. I have a lot of respect for waitstaff (I work in the industry myself), and I always tip well, even for mediocre service. But this situation was genuinely inexcusable. For the first time ever, I chose not to leave a tip. When I handed back the check, the server stood nearby and said, “I’m just going to wait right here for the check, I have to take a test in the back.” As someone who also serves, I was shocked. I would never rush guests like that. For what it’s worth, I did tip the young woman who set up our lane and shoes, she was the one bright spot of the experience. On top of all this, I thankfully kept my copy of the receipt (which I almost never do), because my bank statement later showed I had been charged an additional $20 tip that I did NOT authorize. As if things hadn’t already gone badly enough. I reached out to a manager to address the situation. He seemed hurried, I felt like he minimized the issue, and told me another manager would reach out. It’s been several days and I’ve heard nothing. I’m not upset over the $20 itself, I’m disappointed by how disregarded we were from start to finish. This whole experience was genuinely unfortunate and far below basic standards of hospitality.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely phenomenal experience at Lucky Strike Denver! From the moment we walked in, the energy was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. Sean, the manager, truly stood out — he was so kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel like VIP guests the entire time. It’s rare to come across that level of genuine hospitality, and Sean delivered it effortlessly. The atmosphere was lively, the service was top-tier, and every detail made our experience extraordinary. It’s clear the team here truly cares about their guests and takes pride in what they do. We’ll absolutely be back — and next time, we’re bringing all our friends! Lucky Strike Denver has definitely earned a spot as one of our favorite places in the city.
We went on a Sunday night around 7 pm — most of the lanes were full, but luckily we got one right away. The place was pretty crowded, and it felt like people were a bit too close to our lane. There also weren’t enough bowling balls to pick from, and the floor didn’t seem completely flat, which made the game a little tricky. On the bright side, the evening deals were good, and overall we still had a fun time!
This is a must do!!! We had so much fun bowling and playing in the arcade. It has a nice bar, good food and the customer service was out of this world. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Please visit Lucky Strike, you will not be disappointed
Steven was absolutely outstanding! Even though he was clearly balancing a lot of responsibilities around the venue, he never once let that get in the way of being incredibly attentive during our visit. He anticipated needs before we even asked, continually checked in, and managed to make us feel appreciated while balancing his responsibilities. Lucky Strike is lucky to have him! -Clean and comfortable couch seating in your designated lane -Great Zero proof mocktails -Fun arcade area with more game variety than most arcades in Denver
