I went to CeCe to get my nails done gel x and a pedicure. The nails were fine until about a few days later where the nails kept breaking and cracking. The nails became unsafe and super sharp. I contacted her multiple times for them to be fix but for 2 weeks she ignored my texts and phone calls. I was tired of this situation so I called the salon. She seems to have had an attitude and answered as if I was a burden. She told me she would call me back when she’s done. I didn’t get a call back until 3 days later. I told her I was over it and just wanted a refund. She told me I couldn’t get a refund despite what I was just went through. Jan 13 2025: Happy New Year. Let's formally address ongoing issues regarding services I received and the lack of appropriate follow-up from your staff. To be clear from the beginning: I did not initially request a refund. Every message I sent was an attempt to have my nails fixed, as I was trying to be accommodating. Nails should not begin breaking or chipping just a few days after service especially when I was not engaging in any activity that would cause damage. This was not a one-time issue. I experienced repeated breakage, sometimes without even realizing it because of how easily the nails were coming apart. This is not a “me” issue; it is a service and application issue. Whether it was the technique, the glue, or the application process, something was clearly wrong. For clarity, here is the timeline: November 5: Nails and toes were done. November 10: I reached out regarding broken nails. I was told the shop was closed. I informed Cece that I temporarily superglued a nail, and she asked me to let her know if they lasted. Despite contacting my technician directly, no appointment or inspection was offered at that time. November 17: I reached out again due to continued breakage. Cece responded that she didn’t know what was going on, but again no solution or accommodation was offered. November 20, 24, and 25: I reached out multiple times with no response. November 25: I texted AND called at 1:52 PM and asked to speak to the owner. The phone was handed to Cece, who responded with an attitude based on assumptions I never made. At this point, I simply wanted either an appointment to fix the issue or a refund. After weeks of being ignored, I requested a refund only because all attempts to resolve the issue were disregarded. It was only after I left a review and filed a complaint that I was contacted followed by unprofessional responses from both Cece and the owner. Responding emotionally and defensively to a customer’s review, rather than addressing the service failure, reflects poorly on the business. As a manager or owner, the appropriate response should have been: “How can we fix this and ensure the customer leaves with a better experience?” I am not the only customer who has raised similar concerns. Multiple reviews reflect the same issues, which suggests an internal problem that should be addressed. Not to mention the fact that the owner feels comfortable with responding to the negative reviews with something smart. "Girl Bye"??? How old are we? All I wanted was for my nails to be fixed. When that didn’t happen, a refund became reasonable. The unprofessional handling of the situation afterward only reinforced my disappointment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used for reflection and improvement. Be blessed.. :)

I went to another place and they had my nails half off by the end of the night so I stuck to what I know and searched for my people to do my nails. Honestly black owned is the only way to go as much as possible, because they don’t love on us the same. Sis, fixed me up. Did an amazing job and the vibes were polite. Gelx

I went to get my feet done Saturday beautiful scenery, relaxing atmosphere. All the ladies were nice as well. My pedicure is horrible though my cuticles weren’t pushed back. My polish looks like little nubs instead of nails. On The tip of my toe is still hard🥲🥲🥲 when I ask the young lady was she going to scrape my feet? Her response was , There’s absolutely nothing wrong with your feet. They really look ugly. My pedicure was $65 and I feel like I was burnt. I will not be returning💯🥴I’m posting pictures from Sat and it’s only Monday 🥲🥲🥲🥲
