We used Make Believe Events for our wedding venue dressing and we couldn’t have been happier! From the start, the team were professional, friendly, and so attentive to our ideas. They listened to exactly what we wanted and transformed the space beautifully, making our day feel extra special. Everything was handled seamlessly on the day, and the attention to detail really stood out. Our venue looked stunning, and we received so many compliments from our guests. We can’t recommend Make Believe Events highly enough — they truly make wedding visions come to life!

We hired Make Believe to dress and decorate our wedding in August and we couldn't have been happier with the products and service we received from them. They provided us with an incredible multicoloured arch, aisle greenery and flower bombs for the ceremony, which were then, with the permission of Make Believe, moved by staff at our venue and reused later in the day during the reception. Throughout the process and in the lead up to the wedding the Make Believe team were always available, friendly and more than happy to make changes or adjustments such as adding on some specific fabric we requested late on. They made what could have been a stressful task, an enjoyable and straightforward one and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

Make Believe dressed and decorated our wedding, and they were so wonderful. Our venue had lots of room turnarounds required (the same main room for ceremony, then meal, then evening) and Make Believe worked their magic seamlessly. Everything looked amazing — the floral arrangements, aisle, chairs, tables, candelabras, candles, lanterns, right through to the LED dance floor in the evening. Julie and the team were great setting up the day before — so speedy, but also putting in the attention to detail. And Heather was great in the run up to the big day. ✨ MakeBelieve Decor – Pure Magic ✨ We are absolutely thrilled with the stunning work by MakeBelieve—our venue was transformed into something truly spectacular! From the warm, romantic glow of cascading fairy lights and festoon lighting in both the Outhouse and Engine Room, to the beautifully styled aisle and perfectly tied bows, every detail felt thoughtful and in tune with our vision. The voile backdrop against the curtain of lights was nothing short of breathtaking—a dreamy focal point that elevated the entire space. And that disco ball? It brought the sparkle and made the dance floor utterly irresistible! Heather’s communication was fantastic throughout the planning process. She consistently checked in to make sure every little detail was spot on and ready for our big day, which gave us so much confidence. MakeBelieve is a joy to work with and truly exceeded our expectations. Can’t recommend them highly enough—they made our wedding feel magical. 🌟

I cannot recommend Make Believe Events enough! From our first contact with Heather via email I felt confident they team could bring our vision to life. We attended an open day at their showroom where we could see our decor options and how different items would make the space feel. Heather gave us great ideas and put our quote together while we talked and by the time we got back in the car it was in our inbox. We booked that day. We booked festoon lights, flower wall and neon sign, chair sashes, lanterns, candle holders, candles, wooden rounds, wicker place mats, table runners, wooden barrels and apple crates. All communication was replied to quickly and clearly, even my panic email 2 days before the wedding asking for a post box. On the day Heather was so patient as we were holding out for an outside ceremony. The set up was beautiful, everything we hoped for and more. The team were friendly and reliable too.
