What a lovely wine bar (and beer), so cozy and warm. They have fire pits outside to sit and have wine with your best friend, you pup.
For a winery that shows dogs are such a big part of the brand, it was interesting that they are so not dog friendly. Went on a Sunday afternoon and even with only one person seated, was told no dogs were allowed and were not given the opportunity to sit outside. Visited about 4 hours before they closed and the outside patio was completely closed off so we weren’t able to stay. Totally understand not everywhere can be pet friendly but was surprised this was the fact at a place that openly advertises having dogs as a big part of the brand and doesn’t have a kitchen.
I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed both. This little wine bar is tucked away in a quiet corner of Slabtown, serves good wine & nibbles, and has some shady outdoor seating. Service is attentive and friendly. The branding is strange. It's the outline of a dog which makes most people think it's a pet supply store, and even the sandwich board near the New Seasons that points to the way there, has a big picture of a dog, with tiny print saying something about wine. Basically, you would have no idea it's there, and they seem to want people to be confused, but once you're there, you'll realize it's a chill little neighborhood gem that does not resemble a pet store at all!
Usually a fun place for wine flights and snacks. We’ve been here before and had amazing service and really enjoyed our time. Went back and the place was empty on a very cold rainy day and the employee wouldn’t allow us inside with our service animal. It’s too bad because we liked their wines.
What a fun spot! We sat outside and had wine flights, and we all enjoyed each of the wines we tried. I was impressed with the wide selection of wines from their winery that they offered. And the person working was so friendly and knowledgeable! Can’t wait to go back!
