If you are thinking about getting a massage Envy membership DONT! They do not honor their contracts. I have been a member for over 20 years, even paid through covid to help them out. They will lie and tell you you can go to any location, not true! Even if the location is owned by the same owner. They jerk you around to get more money out of you. Their last excuse was they changed management. Same people own it. They fired there poor manager after she could not handle the complaints anymore. This manager is just trying to get through her day. So sad they choose to bully their managers to do their loyal customers dirty. Shame on you!
Blissful Kneading, Questionable Soundtrack ★★★★★ The therapist—Sarah—was an absolute wizard (as always) She found knots in my back that created acid flashbacks whenever she put pressure on them. . By the 20-minute mark I was making involuntary dolphin noises and mentally drafting thank you letters to her and the manager Hyena (whom I love by the way, but has an interesting first name) . Anyways, Shoulders? Liquid. Neck? Forgotten what tension even feels like. Lower back? I’m pretty sure she removed a grudge I’ve been holding against my mother since 1989. 10/10 technique, would let her fold me into origami again next week. But then there was the elephant in the room… the music. The playlist can only be described as “What if a camel that was allergic to chickpeas had an anxiety attack in a wind chime factory?” It was nonstop Middle Eastern fusion—dramatic darbuka drumming, occasional lonely flute wailing, and every 90 seconds a guy going “ohhhhhh laaaaaa” in the background like he’s about to drop a 9th-century beat drop that nobody has ever heard in this day and age. I was too relaxed to be scared, but my subconscious was definitely filing a noise complaint. Granted, I’m lying there, face-down, drooling into the face hole directly onto my therapists nice white shoes, feeling like I’m finally achieving inner peace… while simultaneously living inside the world’s most intense wedding reception happening in 1197 AD. It was like getting a massage from Gandhi while Eminem is rapping over your glutes with saltines stuffed in his mouth. Would I go back? Yes. Would I ask them to change the music? Also yes. Do I now associate lower-back relief with the sound of a distressed goat playing the flute? …Unfortunately. If you want a massage that turns your body into butter and your brain into a confused tourist at a desert rave, book with Sarah. Highly recommended.
Love this location, but love my therapist Tricia even more! She has so much experience in understanding my body and how to make me feel great, but she is also an amazing person. She makes me feel relaxed and happy during my entire experience. You can tell Tricia cares for her clients and I am so glad I found someone I can regularly see.
The front desk folk are always polite and professional and seem to enjoy their roles. I've been getting massages for over 20 years and Tricia at this location is the best masseuse I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. From my first massage with her, I realized that not only was she an amazing masseuse, she truly knows and understands the human body. With a couple of questions, she knows where your aches and pains are and works them out with care. If Tricia isn't available, I'll wait longer until she has an opening, because I don't want anyone else caring for my aging, overworked, stressed out self. Thank you, Tricia, for caring for your clients so well!
I have gone here for years and everyone has been wonderful. Service has always been really good. But Tricia is next level. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and talented, she is also a gem of a human being. Every time I see her, it is very obvious that she is doing everything she knows how to do to help not only your muscles, but also your mind relax. I am eternally grateful for her!
