Tyneka was the consummate professional! She was very gracious, she explained what she was doing, she was a wonderful conversationalist and she had absolutely AMAZING gifted hands! 🙌🏾 I normally go to the equally consummate professional, Josh, @ Brannon Crossing and while they have different personalities and massage styles, these TWO know how to work my body!! Hands down! And I have been doing massage therapy for years. 👍🏾☺️
Wow!! Both Stevie and Tatyana are wonderful! If you like a true deep tissue massage Tatyana is your girl. I’m pretty sure she released facia from my body that’s been there since 1993. Stevie has magical powers and still has a firm hand but offers a little less pressure. Love massage strong!! And always feel like a new woman when I leave!
I am perpetually tense. I have been looking for a massage therapist to help me with my intense hip, knee, and lower back pain for a long time. I have had excellent experiences with several therapists over the years but Meka is hands down the best massage therapist I've ever had! She has a healing gift: a calming presence, excellent understanding of the body, and a genuine love of the craft. I cannot speak highly enough of her talent. I've already rebooked with her and plan to visit her regularly!
I had the pleasure of having David as my massage therapist yesterday. This was probably one of the most amazing massages I’ve ever gotten in my life. He not only focused on my pressure points, breathing techniques, explaining how the body was working and connecting with each other as he went along and got out most of the knots that I had Carried from trauma or stress. His bedside manner was on point his insight and suggestions for stretches were amazing and he was so professional and kind. I would highly suggest booking with David.
Colin, my therapist, was good for deep tissue and addressed my issues well. He was friendly and very smart about his work. If he worked at a different type of place, I would likely be a regular. Unfortunately, the way it runs here is very much like a Massage Envy, or other corporate place. I have a massage every 3 weeks and this place is less than 10 min from my house, so I really wanted it to work out. But at the end of one of the most frustrating weekends of my life, this place made it worse. There is zero flexibility on the 24 hour full charge for rescheduling (I had a true emergency, called to explain, and would have been happy to pay something to reschedule but it was all or nothing). The massage was timed to the point that the therapist stopped in the middle of doing something rather than properly closing out the therapy (a major problem for anyone with even a passing understanding of body work), and the setup in the facility made it clear that the churn was the point. This is essentially a franchise-style place. Fine if that’s what you are in for. But I am not interested in a McDonald’s style massage and it’s not the same price point. But that’s the impression I got here. I am pretty sure my review won’t really matter, but massage is deep and impactful body work and the impression I got here is that they see it as an assembly line. Again, if you just need pain relief and don’t care if they care, the basics are there. But that’s all you’re going to get. Disappointing.
