I am writing this review to document a serious incident of disrespectful and dishonest behavior by the owner during the Morocco vs Senegal AFCON final. I arrived during the game, asked the owner if I could place an order, and was told the restaurant was full but that my order could be taken once the game ended. With about 10 minutes left, I stood quietly like many other people who were also standing and not consuming at that moment. Shortly after, the owner tapped my shoulder and told me to leave, claiming there was no space. When I calmly pointed out that many others were standing as well, he did not respond. Instead, while smoking hookah, he blew smoke directly into my face. I asked him clearly to stop. He told me to leave and continued blowing smoke toward me. This behavior alone is unacceptable. What made it worse was what followed. When my husband arrived after the game, staff refused to give the owner’s name and claimed he had left. When the owner finally spoke to my husband, he lied, stating that I was blocking the kitchen door (which is false and recorded on video) and denied blowing smoke in my face — despite clear video evidence showing exactly that. When asked to show his supposed proof, he could not. An owner who disrespects a woman publicly, then lies when confronted, shows a serious lack of integrity and professionalism. This review is not based on opinion — it is based on recorded facts. I will be attaching the video so people can see the behavior for themselves. I do not recommend this establishment, not because of food or atmosphere, but because character matters — especially when you are the face of a business.

Massaya Café is truly a hidden gem. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is full of rich Middle Eastern flavors, and the presentation is beautiful. The staff is friendly and attentive, and everything from the coffee to the desserts tastes fresh and authentic. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy place to relax or enjoy a great meal.

One of my favorite places, the service is incredible; they're always attentive to your needs and very friendly. The food is delicious; each dish is special, and the meat is tender and fresh. It has good seating for any kind of weather, whether it's cold or hot. The atmosphere is peaceful, perfect for working or simply spending time with family and friends. Even the owner is attentive to your needs. Everyone is very kind. I highly recommend it; spending afternoons in Massaya is essential to my routine.

Massaya is the place to be. Hands down the best everyday lounge you can go to. Their food is wonderful and their desert is very yummy. the waiters all are so kind and always make sure you’re taken care of. Rami the owner will make sure that your experience here is one to remember! I come here every single day of the week and I will continue to come here with no doubt. Don’t think twice about massaya.
