I love Mathnasium! Getting your child started with supplemental math instruction at a young age has been very beneficial for us. We love the team at Mathnasium and they have been excellent to work with :)
Mathnasium has been the perfect solution to assist my daughter with her freshman year of high school. The tutors and owner have all been great-friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. We are so glad to have experienced this extra help and it really helped my daughter’s math grade!
My daughter has increased her confidence since she started attending mathnasium. She is doing a lot better in school and always excited to attend the tutorial. I am thankful we found this place.
My daughters were picking up math quickly and telling me they were bored with school math. We decided to maximize this sponge phase (and their current eagerness to learn math) with a Mathnasium membership. They love Mathnasium. We enjoy seeing their growth and excitement for math. They love knowing they're ahead of the math standards for their age.
Due to the inherent difficulties of remote learning, my daughter (8 years old; 3rd grade), fell behind in math and we immediately signed her up in Mathnasium to help her out. She's been going consistently for 7 months now and her EOG indicates that she is on grade level now for math, even though throughout most of the year she has been behind. I absolutely attribute this growth to Mathnasium. Besides the obvious work in math, I think a major strength of Mathnasium is an emphasis in "growth mindset". As a college educator, I see "fixed mindset" for math very often -- "I am not good at math"; "I can't do math"; "math is hard". Mathnasium encourages children to apply a growth mindset to math (and practicing this mindset encourages its use in other parts of their life) -- "With practice and effort, you can do any of these problems!"; "math is knowable; it can be figured out"; "anyone can be good at math!". The staff here is also diverse and I appreciate that. It's important to me that my daughter sees women who are great at math here and that just becomes totally normal to her (which it is!) instead of the stereotype that "math is for boys" which still is sadly prevalent. For high-quality, small-group tutoring, the prices here are reasonable and on par with other tutoring options. I highly recommend this service and I plan on continuing with my daughter into her next school year. Every single career involves math at some level so I consider it a great investment!
