Every time we walk into MetroVet, we feel like part of the family. The staff is incredibly kind and always so nice and loving with all our animals. We have 3 pit mixes and the staff is always so happy to see them! Today was especially nice because even though we came with our cat, we were happy to learn and meet with the exotics vet who was willing to come answer some questions about our geckos!
We took our dog, Atlas, in for evaluation following 3-4 days of just not acting himself. Being a bit off with only one significant sign ... a new reluctance to climb stairs. Dr. Alexis Griess found signs id degenerative disk disease on thorough exam ... took time to explain our breed's predisposition to this, and prescribe medication to sooth nerve irratation and reduce inflammation. Superb care by every measure. Assistant Daniel also ... gentle, calm, and compassionate. We are so grateful. Highest recommendation.
Dr Kries did a fantastic job when we brought in our two Birman cats, Monty and Pim, for their rabies vaccinations and general checkup. The visit was smooth, efficient, and handled with a lot of care. The staff were gentle and patient with both cats, took the time to explain what they were doing, and made sure Monty and Pim were comfortable throughout the appointment. We really appreciated how calm and reassuring the entire process felt. It’s clear they truly care about both pets and their owners, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend this practice to others.
Incredibly impressed with Willow’s visit to Metrovet today for a sick visit. The exam room was perfectly set up for a cat to feel comfortable, and the staff was kind and thoughtful in her care and handling. You can tell everyone involved is aligned in a fear-free approach. Highly recommend and will definitely be back next time I have a pet in need.
This is a great place for a nervous dog mom. I have a Rat terrier/Jack Russell mix that is anxious because I get anxious when I have to take her to the vet. Dr. Seth Williams and the staff of MetroVet, from start to finish, were anticipatory and accommodating! Wow! Great experience and I would recommend to any animal lover! I’ve attached a picture of this tuckered out pup after a great vet visit!
