Michelle is unprofessional, rude and egotistical. Does not have up to date knowledge needed in today's tax climate. We switched to JR Accounting and are much happier. Tax is incredibly important. Spend a little bit more and get an actual CPA who is competent.
Just read through her responses to negative reviews and you will know what kind of person you are dealing with. Many members of our community have left her for another accountant due to her attitude. As she says - if you want professional service with a smile - go somewhere else. If you want to be treated like dirt by a lowly accoutant for less than $50 then she is for you!

I had a terrible experience here at Michelle Reyes Tax Services. The level of professionalism, privacy, and customer care was appalling. My Mom was spoken to in a disrespectful tone in front of other clients, which was embarrassing. Not once did anyone apologize for the mistake made when they failed to ask my Mom if the tax papers were for a small business or not. Michelle’s approach was utterly unhelpful—she only asked, "How many people?" It’s disappointing that someone with so much experience in the industry doesn’t seem to understand the basic principles of customer service. The lack of privacy was also concerning. It was unprofessional to be on phone calls while dealing with clients, and I felt like my personal information was being handled carelessly. Clients should not feel rushed, especially when they are trusting you with their tax documents during such a stressful time. Unfortunately, that’s exactly how we felt—rushed and uncared for. I could go on, but honestly, this was a ridiculous experience that made my family and me uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I sincerely hope others don’t have to endure the same level of poor service and attitude that we received.
We had a very disappointing experience here and won’t be returning. When my mom called to make the appointment, she was asked how many people were coming—she said 5. However, when we arrived, Michelle was visibly upset that my mom didn’t mention she had a small business. Michelle had done our taxes the previous year, so my mom assumed that info would already be on file. Also, if specific details like that are needed, shouldn’t the person taking the booking ask more thorough questions? Throughout the entire appointment, Michelle was rude, cold, and dismissive. She was clearly multitasking, rushing and talking on the phone while helping us—yet somehow still found time to repeatedly bring up how my mom didn’t mention her business, even in front of other customers. The office is small, so everything said can be heard by everyone. She also made several passive-aggressive comments or “parinig” which felt very unprofessional. Instead of offering solutions or clarifying expectations kindly, she just blamed us for holding up the line and made us feel like we were a burden. It’s not our fault they overbooked and did not ask the right question(s). What was most upsetting was how dismissive she was when my mom would talk—cutting her off, talking over her, and giving attitude. There was even a moment when Michelle asked my mom a question while on the phone with another customer, but because she didn’t clarify who she was talking to, my mom didn’t respond right away—only to be snapped at again. How is that fair? Basic customer service was completely missing. If you’re going to be taking calls during an appointment, the least you can do is excuse yourself or let the client know. Instead, we got attitude for trying to keep up. On a positive note, there was a man helping out who was kind and patient. We appreciated that. To top it all off, our taxes weren’t even calculated correctly. We left feeling stressed, disappointed, and honestly, humiliated. Never coming back. Michelle if you are reading this, please be kind. Kindness can go a long way :)
