I’m so thankful I found MDM for my daughter. She’s been dancing there for years, and no matter what kind of mood she’s in when I drop her off, I always pick up a happy, confident, and energetic kiddo! 10/10 recommend—whether your child wants to dance professionally someday or just dance for fun. Many thanks to the MDM staff for the time, care, and heart that’s been poured into my daughter. It’s great to see how much she’s is valued and how you make her shine in her own special way.

I have a very ambitious, high-energy 3 year old who LOVES to dance and sing and never skips an opportunity to show off for everyone around her. Last fall, I finally decided it was time to get her into dance. We have been more than happy that this was the studio we chose. The staff is so amazing. Any questions I have outside of studio hours, I send an email and it’s always responded to extremely fast. My daughter loves it so much that we wake up on the day of class and she says “DANCE DAY!” And will tell everyone she comes in contact with that it’s dance day. We are adding more classes this spring and we are so excited to continue growing with MDM.

MDM has grown over the years and we are thrilled they added another studio in Andover! However we are also grateful for the ability to select the class, the location and the schedule that works best for our family! They have a terrific “trial class” system in place if you are not sure if the class is the right skill level for your dancer, so do not hesitate to reach out to them if things do not match up to what you need. They are great to work with you and your dancer to find a way to get them in a class that meets their needs! I have also always appreciated that they do not force heavy makeup on the tiny dancers, but they certainly encourage their beautiful smiles and faces to show like the superstar they are while on stage. You can also rest assured that they work to have cute well fitted, but modest costumes for recitals. My only critique would be that I wish they had an elective buy back program with the Spring Recital Costumes because when you have multiple dancers in one household in two or three dance routines a piece, paying a nice chunk of money for something they wear for dress rehearsal, a pic, and one day of recital then have to just go throw them away, donate to charity, or pile them up in the closet IMO is not the best use of all those resources. IMO they would probably be able to really build up their costume collection if they gave parents the option to sell it back at a percentage. (Of course dancers could choose to keep them as well.) The option of working it into the business model to handle the expensive costumes in a different way would be terrific, but I get that costume management is not their focus, as DANCE is their Focus! They have terrific teachers that know their dancers by name and it is clear that they all love what they do! My girls have loved attending MDM!

We stumbled upon MDM when our previous studio didn’t have spots available that worked with our schedule. I was immediately impressed with the organization and superb communication from the studio. If I ever need an answer to a question, I know I have resources with the answers. They have literally thought of everything and made it easy to find. Once we started dancing my daughter fell in love with miss Jana, then miss Marci and now she is blessed with miss Traci for ballet and jazz. We have also enjoyed hip hop and acro classes. She is looking forward to auditioning for company this spring. The teachers and staff were also extremely helpful in getting us through a rough time of separation anxiety for my daughter. They were able to make her feel safe and get her engaged most days after a difficult drop off and she was able to Dance on stage with no issues at both performances that year. I felt truly supported in one of the most difficult times for our family and will be eternally grateful for their patience and understanding. 10/10 🤩
