I worked with Rafael on three separate properties this past year (2025), all with different and fairly serious roof related issues, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. Property 1: What started as a small interior leak turned into discovering multiple problems from poor prior construction. Rafael quickly identified the true source of the leak, came up with a clear and practical solution, and executed it quickly. He coordinated everything, including closing in a balcony that had never been properly installed, replacing windows, fixing siding, correcting the roof pitch, and helping line up interior repairs. His ability to problem solve and pull in the right people when needed was impressive. Property 2: An older home with multiple ongoing leak issues. Rafael methodically tracked down every source and fixed all of them. He was responsive, clear, and showed up quickly whenever I had questions or concerns. It was a huge relief to finally have someone thorough and dependable on a complicated property. Property 3: A more straightforward issue where I noticed a leak inside. Rafael came out the next day, found missing shingles, tarped the area immediately, worked with my insurance company, and handled the full roof replacement efficiently. Across all three projects, Rafael was an excellent communicator, extremely reliable, and well connected with skilled professionals when a job went beyond basic roofing or siding. He does not just patch problems. He actually solves them. I would absolutely recommend him and Mighty Dog Roofing to anyone dealing with roof or exterior issues.

We reached out to Mighty Dog for an estimate as well as 3 other companies. Coleson came out and gave an extremely fair estimate for my roof and gutter guards. I felt instantly comfortable using Mighty based on his knowledge and his above and beyond customer service. If you have a need for a roof save yourself the time and just call this company. You will be more than satisfied and the price will be extremely fair.

Coleson Pokorny did an excellent job leading our home reconstruction project from start to finish- roof, siding, gutters, deck and interior work. He communicated with insurance adjuster to ensure project ran smoothly and kept moving forward. The experience was overall positive. I would recommend Mighty Dog to others looking for a dependable and knowledgeable group of people.

I’d like to give a shout-out to Mighty Dog Roofing of Richmond. They did an amazing job on my roof! As a 20-year real estate veteran, I am very particular about my recommendations. I don’t endorse anyone unless I have personally used their services. I found myself in a tricky situation because my son, Coleson, is the Sales Manager for Mighty Dog. I made it clear that he would need to earn my business, and he can tell you that I am probably his most difficult client. I asked numerous questions, wanted to see multiple roofs on homes to visualize how mine would look, and I demanded the best warranty with high-quality products at competitive prices. Given that my roof is 50 square, I also needed a company that could offer reasonable financing terms. I’m proud to say that they delivered on all fronts. Despite last week being the hottest week of the summer, the crew showed up promptly every morning, ready to work. They worked tirelessly through the heat and humidity, and I am thrilled with the results. I wanted a gray shade with hints of slate green, and the Owens Corning Trudefinition Duration Estate Gray shingle turned out to be the perfect color. They truly did a fantastic job, and I’m happy to be able to refer them personally.
