My 12 year old autistic son Aiden really loved Mike’s Dog Store in Alamo Heights. It was absolutely stimulating for him and though we were there shopping for the puppy, Aiden found a few toys he liked for himself.
YAY! Finally found a dog store in SA that has a good selection of products, great customer service and isn't ridiculously overpriced & understocked! 🎉 Can't wait to make Mike's a go-to stop for our dog. I'm a low maintenance gal, but my dog has a generally sensitive stomach, so we love stores that have Goats Milk & some more safe chews & treats for when we feel like treating him. Also love a dog store that we can visit for stimulus in the middle of the summer when it's too hot to walk outside.
I absolutely love this store. They really care about you and your dog. Wide selection of top brand dog food, at a decent price. Great selection of chews and treats for your pup! They even gave me a super cute pupoy welcome pack with different sample bags of dog food that helped me find the food my dog liked best!! And they have a great variety of toys you normally don't find in generic pet shops. Love this place and have recommended them to every dog owner I know. 😊
