Highly recommended for home town residents and out of town tourists. Even though we live here it was so fun to see the city from a new perspective and hear some of the history and learn of the architecture of MKE. Our guide was John and he was informative, humorous at times and easy to listen to during the tour. As locals it was also so fun meeting guests from all over the country who were enjoying our lovely city.

We booked the sunset, happy hour cruise, and it was well worth the money. We got to go up and down the Milwaukee river and then out into Lake Michigan. The sun was setting and it was beautiful to see the city from the lake. The boat was clean, well organized, and you got two drinks when you pay the price to take the tour I believe the tour was $32 per person, and you will have to pay for parking in the lot which I believe is $26. You can park on the street in a meter And you won’t have any problems and it’s only about 7$ dollars. Highly recommended tour, the staff was really nice as well. We found sitting on the outside area on the bow of The Boat was the best view, and it wasn’t very crowded either! We had read in some reviews that there was some captain narration about the city during the cruise, but this one did not have any narration. They just played some jazz music and some funk music during the cruise! Show up 15 min early to get a good seat! Recommended!

Loved the boat ride.. A last minute decision to go downtown to enjoy a boat ride. This is our second trip on the Vista King. Our first ride was sensational. We weren't expecting much more on the second one but to our surprise it was even better. We can't wait to go on again. Next time we are trying the after happy hour on a Saturday. Can't wait to enjoy this ride at night. It's a must do.....

The tour was great. The narrator was knowledgeable and I learned a lot about Milwaukee that I didn't know since I only moved here 5 years ago. The only complaint I have is the smell of the diesel fuel. At times it was very strong, but as we started rolling along it got less but definitely not healthy breathing that in.

Really a great trip as guide was spectacular! Extremely knowledgeable on history and all buildings/areas. Great view of the city from both the river and Lake Michigan. My photos cover about 14% of the trip
