I have been going to Mindful Movements for Pilates training ever since I moved to Fort Wayne over 10 years ago. Pilates is like a secret weapon for older men who play golf because it really helps maintain flexibility, balance and core strength. Rebecca Bell is the owner and expert instructor that I work with. She is very knowledgeable and knows how to adapt her programs to the needs of the individual client. She is very alert to my energy level when I come in and will modify her approach (or not) depending upon whether she acknowledges the source of my low energy or she recognizes that I’m just feeling lazy. Regardless, I almost always walk out of my 50 minute session feeling energized. I’ve frequented Pilates studios in Indianapolis, IN and Naples, FL, and can recommend Mindful Movements as top level.
I have been doing private and semi-private Reformer Pilates sessions with Rebecca Bell for a dozen years. This has helped me stay flexible and maintain a strong core. She understands the specific needs of each of her clients and tailors a plan to build strength and avoid injury. I have also done mat classes, Melt, TRX and Stretchfit at Mindful Movements and have found each of these techniques useful at different stages of my fitness journey.
I have been very impressed with Rebecca’s knowledge of every muscle in your body and how to tailor a workout to meet your personal needs. I appreciate the variety of classes that are offered. I have enjoyed the MELT, reformer and Pilates mat classes. All of the instructors are well trained, friendly, and willing to offer adaptations to accommodate your ability.
