Mint Julep Experiences provides a safe and entertaining way to experience the bourbon distilleries in and around Louisville. The hosts share their extensive knowledge of the city, the sights, the restaurants and the distilleries. We highly recommend this service. Holly and Cindy are the BEST!!! We chose to do a public tour since it was just two of us. It didn’t take long to feel like everyone else on the tour was a longtime friend.

My husband and I did the Boozy Brunch, Buffalo Trace & Kentucky Artisan Tour in early December—just after Repeal Day, with the first snow of the season on the ground—and it was absolutely exceptional. Cindy, our guide, was fantastic from start to finish. She took care of us like family, listened to what interested us, and adjusted the day with such ease that it felt as if the experience had been designed just for us. Her passion for the region and the industry came through in every story she shared—tales of owners, master distillers, and the personalities behind the bourbon heritage that truly brought Kentucky to life. As we traveled from Louisville to Frankfort, Cindy filled in our knowledge well beyond the basics. Her strong relationships along the route opened doors to wonderful recommendations and small touches that made the day feel special. We loved the contrast between Kentucky Artisan and Buffalo Trace—two very different experiences that gave our tour richness and breadth. The behind-the-scenes insights at both stops were highlights. The vehicle was luxurious, and the pacing was perfect: unhurried, seamless, and thoughtfully planned. We never felt rushed or like we missed anything. We also loved starting the day at Bar Vetti in NuLu. If you go, get the breakfast sausage with your dish—the egg custard in the McVetti sandwich was delicious (and I don’t usually even like egg!). We highly recommend Mint Julep Tours, and especially Cindy. She made our day unforgettable, and we would book with her again in a heartbeat.

We Took 2 full day tours with Mint Julep tours it was a great time both days! Shout out to all the distillery Tour Guides AWESOME at each location! They live their craft ALL! And great to have fun and very different guides for each day on the bus different takes on things to share and all great 👍🏽 Kudos to the mint Julip team for doing such a great job and dropping in extra visits and fun unique things to each your! The best Mint Julep Team; Dan & Cindy with partial shout out to AMAZING driver Dan both days! Thanks for making our 15 year anniversary a great one! We had the best experience this past weekend with Mint Julep Tours. From the planning to the day itself everything went smoothly. Abby helped us plan an event for 31 people to celebrate our friend’s birthday. We went to Whiskey Thief, Woodford Reserve, Castle and Key, and Buffalo Trace. Cindy was a fabulous tour guide sharing so much info and had us laughing. Our driver Mike was great too. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off on schedule and truly it was an amazing day. Thank you. Highly recommend!
