My three year-old Boston Terrier decided to get aggressive against people who came into his space. After a brief conversation with David on the phone, he assured me that things would work out. After only two sessions under the gentle and steady leadership of Michelle at Miracle K9, I have a new and different dog. I believe the genius is found in the fact that Michelle (and I presume the other others) know how dogs “think”. I couldn’t be happier with the results. It really has been “a miracle”!

I don't give reviews easily, but I cannot rave enough about David and his team. We have a household with 5 dogs most of whom were added within 1 year. We took on one pup that was with another family and unfortunately she didn't have a lot of socialization and training and she developed reactivity due to fear. This caused her to lash out......... with her teeth. Three e.r. visits later for a couple of our other dogs and a vet (well intended) expressing the need to rehome her (again), we were desparate. We could see her potential and loving side, but we were stuck playing the dog shuffle game at home, having to spend time apart or her needing to be muzzled or crated (and miserable). It was NOT a fun experience for anyone and we were feeling very sad that we couldn't have a cohesive pack. So, we decided we can't continue to have our other dogs at risk but we couldn't compromise her existence either, she deserved a full life as much as the others. I literally reached out to 6 trainers and David made it a priority to get to us, but was careful not to promise any outcome, and realistically but compassionately said it's worth a try and while some situations with aggressive behavior aren't salvagable he's always willing to try. So he came and did a home assessment with all of them and within short order was able to observe what was going on. My husband and I had that silent convo with our eyes during this session and both knew immediately that David was our guy. I reached out to the other 5 and said thanks but no thanks. He knew what he was doing and his motivation and passion was all in the right place and integrity...cant say enough about his willingness to be up front and honest. So, we decided the best thing was to address Luna's fear and do a board and train. Let me just tell you if you are on the fence at all...DO IT!!!! I cannot tell you how glorious our life is now! We have all of our pups living cohesive and stress free. Not only did they help with Luna but he's helped by investing time in training my husband and I which has benefited our entire pack. When I tell you it was worth every penny I mean EVERY PENNY. Best part...they will continue to support us and will be there for us with any future regression (if it happens) and any new issues. They truly love and care about these dogs and the humans too and are fully invested in making the family environment exactly what it should be. I know I said a lot, but again, I cannot say enough for the experience we've had and continue to have with Miracle K9. They are second to none and imo you'd be missing a huge opportunity if you passed up getting to work with them!

I adopted my first ever pup of my own back in April from a rescue. Since he was just 4.5 months old when I got him, and his past was a bit of a mystery, I wanted to set him as well as myself up for success. I’ve seen individuals struggle with untrained dogs and what chaos it can cause, and I didnt want that. I asked anybody and everybody who owned dogs for training recommendations. Colleagues, friends, heck even a barber at my barber shop who would bring his dog in with him. Overwhelming majority of people I asked referred me to Miracle K9. Reached out and spoke with the owner, David, who got Arlo and I scheduled for a 12 session training course with Michelle (who also trained the dogs of several of the people I spoke with). Can’t rave enough about Michelle and Miracle K9! They helped me correct my pup’s crate anxiety (anytime he was in a crate he’d bark and whimper/cry, sometimes for hours), anxious barking (anytime I wasn’t in sight he’d bark), leash pulling (hated wearing a leash), training him to not run out open doors, and several other things, just in a matter of the first few sessions. By the end of the training course I had the two things I really truly wanted as a dog owner. I was able to trust my dog and have freedom with him. I can leave a door open without having to worry if they’ll dash out. I can go on a walk with him and not have to worry about if he’ll lunge, I can even take him out in the woods or outside off leash without worrying that he’ll run off (even when not in a fenced in yard). I can even take him to pet friendly restaurants with high foot traffic and not worry. In September my sister got married and I was the best man, and I needed to board him for a few days which I used Miracle K9 for and am so glad I did. They even worked with him on things while he was in their care. I didn’t have to worry about him picking up bad habits or being around uncontrollable dogs (since they only board Miracle K9 trained pups) For months and months and months, I’ve received endless compliments about how good of a dog he is, and part of that is his temperament, the other half of it is absolutely the training he received from Michelle and Miracle K9! Never having to worry about my dog has made them, the training and the knowledge they provided worth every single cent!

One of the best decisions i’ve made for my dog. I sent my dog Ducky to the month long board and train where Bridget was her primary trainer. My dog Ducky is deaf Dogo Argentino and she came to me at 6 months old with no training at all. I never owned a deaf dog or her breed before. Ducky and I did a ton of basics training on our own. I eventually reached a point where I was her limitation and I wanted more for her. Some of my main goals for her were to be able to be on and off leash trained, have a strong recall, have more confidence in herself and to build a stronger trust between the two of us. We are originally from the state of NY so sending her to a board and train for a month in OH was difficult for me. I feared she would have a difficult time adjusting and would feel like she was abandoned. This was not the case. Within the first hour of her stay Bridget updated me with videos of her playing and showing signs that she was comfortable in her new environment. Bridget and the rest of the staff were all very kind and always in communication with me on the progress of Ducky’s training. I never felt out of the loop and felt comfortable reaching out for updates. We spoke almost daily on the progress of Ducky’s training and I really enjoyed watching her on their social media! Communication does not end when training is done, even as we returned home i’ve felt I can reach out whenever I had any questions or even just to update the staff on how Ducky is doing! Ducky is now a confident dog, she has great social skills with both humans of all ages and other animals. She does very well in social settings and shows respectful interactions with others. She gets compliments daily from strangers on how well behaved she is. If you are on the fence due to the price of the program I say it was the best money i’ve ever spent and to not fear it going to waste! Since Ducky’s training earlier in the year she has now traveled across the country and visited 11 different states, 4 different national parks and is living a safe and fulfilled life! Thank you to Bridget, all of the staff that has been apart of Ducky’s journey and to the owner David for always being very attentive and going above and beyond.

Finding Bridget and MiracleK9 was the best thing to happen to us as pet parents. We adopted our sweet Riley when she was about 7 months old and while she was the absolute sweetest cuddle bug with our family, she would get scared and reactive to other people and dogs while on walks or out in our yard. It was stopping us from taking her places let alone on daily walks we knew she needed as an energetic puppy! So we dropped her off for board and train and she came back her same sweet self but MUCH more able to control her impulses. We can take her on walks without worry. We are able to have friends over again and they comment what a good girl she is and how different she is from when we first got her. The communication Bridget maintained with us while Riley was there was wonderful. And the pickup lesson was so valuable to train ME how to keep up with everything Riley learned. The follow-up lessons are helpful to clarify and troubleshoot and issues that come up after she came home. David even reached out to me at one point months after our initial board and train to see how things were going and to set up another follow up. It’s an investment we would make over and over for the sanity and calmness it brought our dog and our household. Anytime we go out of town we board Riley there and we know she is happy, loved, and getting a bonus refresh on her manners! I couldn’t recommend MiracleK9 more!
