This restaurant all inclusively deserves higher than 5 stars! Our waiter, Sergio was so polite and attentive! This is my 1st visit to this restaurant and I will definitely return and spread the word about it! As a celiac I was able to walk into this new experience without a care! The menu was clearly marked with allergies! Soooo delicious!

This breakfast and brunch spot is always popular, with a line of people waiting outside, which already tells you how loved it is. We ordered the breakfast combo that comes with a waffle, pancake, and French toast, and it was very satisfying. The waffle was perfectly crispy on the outside, the pancake was soft and fluffy, and the French toast was flavorful and well balanced. A great place if you’re willing to wait for a delicious breakfast.

Mission Valley Breakfast Company is an easy 5-star spot for brunch in San Diego. The food, drinks, and vibe all hit perfectly and make it a place worth going out of your way for. The menu has a ton of fun, creative options like churro French toast, fried rice benedict, breakfast flights, and a really solid breakfast burrito, plus plenty of vegan and gluten-free choices so everyone can find something. The portions are generous, everything comes out hot and flavorful, and the coffee drinks (especially the Golden State latte and cold brew) are legitimately delicious. The atmosphere is modern and playful with bright decor, comfy booths, and both indoor and outdoor seating, so it’s great for catching up with friends or a casual weekend brunch. Service has always been friendly and quick, and the staff are great about recommendations and accommodating different preferences or dietary needs. Between the great food, fun drinks, and laid-back vibe, this has become a go-to breakfast spot and an easy “highly recommend” for anyone looking for brunch in Mission Valley.

First time visiting. We came on Christmas Day morning around 11 AM. The area itself is very nice and pretty, with lots of shops nearby. When we arrived, we stood at the front for about five minutes before being acknowledged, which felt a bit long. We were honestly close to leaving, but thankfully one staff member stepped in and turned the experience around — I wish I caught his name. Once seated, it took about five minutes for our order to be taken, which was understandable after noticing they only had a handful of servers and one person running food. We ordered the breakfast flight, which was good, and the shrimp and grits were also good. Unfortunately, the fried rice Benedict was a miss for us. Our food also came out barely warm. But we chose not to make a big fuss. Overall, it was a good experience despite a few hiccups. The bathroom was clean, and they accept digital payments like Apple Pay, which is always a plus.

My family and I were able to dine at Mission Valley Breakfast Company on Nov 15 and had the best time. There was about a 35 minute wait but luckily our host pointed us to Ox Coffee right next door, which was lovely as well. We were seated way earlier than expected and our server, Sergio, was so incredibly attentive and kind. He gave us the best recommendations and we loved our food and drinks. He checked on us and made sure we were satisfied throughout our entire meal which we really appreciated. The music was super fun and set a nice tone for our experience. We had a delicious bottle of Prosecco paired with an almond flavored essence which was sooo good. Overall, all of the staff was super kind and accommodating. I'm very excited to go back one day soon.
