These guys did an amazing job on our backyard fence. Ryan, Sal, and team did an amazing job renovating our outdoor spaces. We live in an apartment building with a terrace and roof deck, and they helped us pick out new flooring tiles, installed, leveled, and sealed them, and guided us through replacing our worn pine fencing with brand new cedar fencing. The end result looks and feels amazing.

Modern Urban Design transformed our literal mud pit into an urban oasis. Jonathan and his crew brought both a positive and practical outlook to our project, full of ideas while working with us to stay well within our budget. From an irregular stone patio, a beautiful deck, and soft, seamless turf, our backyard has become a place that works for kids and adults. The crew has also been great about answering any additional questions and following up on any new ideas we might have. They’re our first call - and our last.

From the get go, Jonathan was wonderful to work with. Our goal was to design a outdoor "living room" that maximizes the functional space, is beautiful and comfortable for us to have people over and is kid-friendly (for our daughter to play in). Jonathan was great to collaborate with -- he listened to our ideas and contributed his own. He is very knowledgeable about hardscaping (including wood) and landscaping. Our design included built us benches, along the walls (with storage), a custom table, bench, and planters, as well as the installation of pavers, evergreens and an irrigation system. The end result (including the woodwork and craftsmanship) is incredibly impressive. The team was very professional (and respectful, especially during COVID), and the project was completed on time. We couldn't be more thrilled and we would highly recommend M.U.D.!!
