In this very dark and old looking restaurant, you will find an amazing selection of delicious pastas and Italian sandwiches. The food is authentic, rustic and tasty. No nonsense garnish, or fusion style dishes.
One of the best Italian sandwiches I have ever had, just had a great time walking around the store and enjoying the prosciutto, mortadella and the various types of salami. The sandwiches are huge and are reasonably priced for the city, we went back several times because the sandwiches were so packed!
Must go for a delicious Italian sandwich. Portions are huge and very generous with ingredients. We got the bresaola on focaccia that was great! (Expert tip: add chipotle mayo instead of mustard). Wide variety of breads and cold meats and the grocery store has a very wide variety of Italian goods.
Just stopped at the deli market, what a beautiful atmosphere and ambience. Guest parking super, had a fantastic sandwich, Parma ham, cheese and a delicious baguette 🥖. See the pics, loved it! Staff in the deli, helpful and very nice, will be back :)
I absolutely love this place, every time we visit San Diego, we make sure to stop by. The meatballs and garlic bread are always on point. the lasagna which was okay this time. The piccata was a nice surprise! Great food, good service, and a chill vibe. Plus, right next door is their fresh market where you can grab some awesome sandwiches. Definitely recommend!
