Love this place! They have a massive greenhouse with a ton of indoor plants. Thomas was amazing with helping me find what I was looking for and even assisted me with loading my gorgeous new majesty palm in my car. Will definitely be coming back!
We bought more than $2000 dollars of trees from Moon 3-4 years ago to use as privacy fence so my neighbors cannot see our backyard. Their trees quality is not good. After so long 4 trees did not grow much at all.Actually some of them looked very unhealthy. We will not recommend buying their items because overall quality is not good.
I had such a great experience with the Charleston nursery! Their plants are healthy and beautiful, I got a great deal for buying more. Experienced staff like Kevin and Luis took extra time to make sure my project would turn out the way I wanted, and the crew that came to plant did a wonderful job. Everyone was professional. Highly recommend this nursery!
I am not a Las Vegas native so having to become familiar with plants and trees that will survive the Las Vegas heat and soil has been challenging. When we bought our home we had it landscaped (not by Moon Valley) and for the first 3 years everything was fine. The last two years have been a challenge trying to keep up with the maintenance. Although we do have a maintenance service, the agaves and plants would always die with the heat in the summer and I had to replace them in the fall. Kevin at the Charleston Blvd location has been very helpful, giving me tips and suggestions as to what to do. Then suddenly two of our backyard trees (Japanese Blueberry) were not looking as good as they used to. They started out looking like beautiful Christmas trees, and now looked like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree. I showed Kevin pictures and he told me our trees need to be "revitalized" and be given a serious fertilizer treatment. I truly appreciate their customer service. Kevin is patient and understands that not everyone knows about plants and or trees. He takes the time to explain things to you in layman terms so it's not so overwhelming. Let's face it, landscaping is expensive and one wants to preserve it and keep it looking as beautiful as it did on day one. I would highly recommend Moon Valley Nurseries and you should speak to Kevin or Armando. They are both pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. You need to be able to pick the right plants/trees that can survive our Las Vegas weather, and you then need to feed them and maintain them properly.
We can't say enough great things about Moon Valley Nurseries! Last year we decided to redo our backyard and we planted several Fire Bell shrubs against our house and they grew like crazy and now they look amazing. One of the trees we wanted to get rid of and they came, removed it, and planted a new tree for us. The entire experience was five-stars. Their staff is always extremely knowledgeable and helpful and their removal and planting crews are awesome. They are very good at communication and always arrive in the window they say they are going to. Months later though, we had a lot of our older shrubs in the front of our house die due to the excessive heat we had last summer, so we had Moon Valley remove all of those and plant new shrubs for us (more of the Fire Bells and some Hibiscus plants) Again, super professional on the removals of our old shrubs and a week later, planting new ones for us. We admit that our green thumbs are closer to black in color, as we can barely keep a house plant alive, but everything we get from Moon Valley lives and thrives under our care. It's obvious that the plants they grow are of different stock than you get from Lowes or even other nurseries and their Moon Juice plant food is also a contributing factor as well. Thanks Moon Valley Nurseries for contributing so much to the beautification of our home's exterior...you're the only place we go to anymore for anything plant-life!
