I drove around to a few places before finding this gem. The salon is brand new and the owner, Sue, takes great pride in her work. I loved the care I got. Highly recommend
What an absolutely amazing experience for my daughters and me today! We happened to drive by this salon on a Sunday afternoon and, on a whim, decided to pop in since we had been wanting to get our nails done. Luckily for us, they were able to accommodate all of us and I am so glad they did. I will admit, a recent experience at another Kailua nail salon had left me feeling discouraged and disappointed, but this place completely redeemed my faith. From the onset, it was truly white glove treatment. The owner personally invited us in and was so warm and welcoming. We were offered Thai iced tea or Vietnamese coffee upon arrival. The massage chairs were turned on right away, and the staff was communicative, kind, and especially sweet with my daughters. I was on the fence about getting a manicure since I usually only do pedicures, and I am very particular about my fingernails. I like them short and manageable, and they listened carefully and delivered exactly what I wanted. What I especially appreciated was that while I chose a brighter pink for my toenails, the owne recommended a lighter, more neutral pink for my fingernails. It was a smart choice, and I am grateful for her insight. There was no pressure and no rushing, just thoughtful, attentive service. Every detail felt intentional, calm, and caring. We left relaxed, happy, and already talking about when we will come back. This experience reminded me what a nail salon should feel like, and this will absolutely be our go to spot moving forward.
I recently got my nails done here at Moonlight & my experience was amazing! They offered me drinks as soon as i sat down & Anna did a fantastic job at executing what I wanted! Would highly recommend!
This experience was truly amazing! I came in very spontaneously for a refill on my last nail set. I had seen this place before and have always thought about wanting to try it out sometime, and I was definitely not disappointed. The staff was incredibly sweet and I felt very welcome from the start. I got offered numerous drinks and really liked the Thai tea that I tried. The whole visit was so comfortable and it was really nice to talk to the ladies during it. Anna did an incredible job with the nails, and she was fast but still precise with it. They turned out just how I wanted and the process was very effective. I am really glad that I decided to try this place out, and I’m already planning on coming back for my next set. Cleanliness 10/10. Staff 10/10. Nails 10/10. Overall a great experience!
My experience today was spectacular! I do not live on O`ahu, so I took a chance by walking over to Moonlight Nails & Spa. I was not disappointed at all!!! Sue genuinely welcomed me and I instantly felt at ease by her presence and the cleanliness of the salon. Sue offered multiple beverages, and I chose a Thai iced tea which I highly recommend with or without sugar. I got a classic mani & pedi, plus eyebrow wax. Luckily for me, Tina was able to do my pedicure while Sue did my manicure and then she moved onto my eyebrow wax all while I stayed seated in the chair that my services began. I truly wish I could take these ladies home with me. I did not have to tell them what shape I preferred for my nails, and they did not pressure me to change or choose something else. Due to nail damage from a previous experience in Hilo, I needed a classic simple trim and polish which they both excelled at. I will be sure to visit anytime I return to O`ahu and recommend this awesome salon to any looking for quality, professional pampering! Thank you so much! Moonlight Nails & Spa! XO
